Dosage

Improvement in digestion– probiotics have been shown to increase the efficiency of digestion and therefore provide an improvement in digestion. A natural 'friendly' bacterium, Enterococcus faecium(DSM 10663/ NCIMB 10415) 4b1707, which helps tokeep the level of beneficial bacteria high and exclude pathogenic species. Protexin Pro-Kolin is a palatable pellet that contains a blend of natural ingredients to help improve digestion and promote healthy gut flora in dogs and cats. Key Ingredients Give by mouth for as long as considered necessary or as advised by your veterinary surgeon. Pro-Kolin+ can be given up to three times daily, depending on severity.

The probiotics should also be able to pass safely through the stomach so that they can colonise the gut. A good freeze-drying process will enable the product to be stored at room temperature throughout the duration of its shelf life.
