About this deal

This pin the nose on Rudolph template is a wonderful game for the whole family to enjoy playing this Christmas. With a simple set of rules and a template designed in our signature Twinkl style, this game is perfect for children of all ages to try. This unplugged coding activity uses those steps to define what an algorithm is and then watch their algorithm run while communicating their steps to a teammate who follows them. We used a large pin board, that happened to be red – perfect Christmassy feel. However you CAN make this our a large piece of cardboard too Set the Stage: Find a clear open space on a wall to hang Rudolph. Keep the height in consideration depending on the age of the players; lower for little ones and higher for the older kids.

Spin it Up: For an extra dash of challenge, spin the player around a couple of times before setting them off towards Rudolph. As with pretty much all my printables I’ve provided two paper sizes – A4 and US Letter (8.5″ x 11″) – use which size is appropriate for your printer.

Print and hang Pin the Nose on Rudolph Game Board at an appropriate level on a wall. Make sure that there is at least 5-10ft of space to set up obstacles. The more obstacles you add the harder the code is to write. If you’re looking for a game that’s really similar to this resource, take a look at this Pin The Nose On The Snowman Activity!
