About this deal

Fire Immunity: Apollo is completely immune to any amount of fire and heat. In The Tower of Nero, after destroying Nero's fasces in one of his bursts of godly power, Apollo was left unharmed by the firestorm it released which Nero stated would be enough to kill whoever managed to break it. Apollo first meets Jason in The Blood of Olympus, where Apollo is punished by Zeus. Jason desperately tries to defend Apollo and talk him out of it, to no avail. Cloud Transformation: As was mentioned by Apollo in The Hidden Oracle, Apollo had the ability to turn himself into a cloud. Hypnokinesis (limited): As shown in The Titan's Curse, Apollo has the power to induce slumber - he put Percy to sleep just by snapping his fingers. However, it is unknown as to what extent his power over sleep is. Rise of the RoboShoesTM by Tom Angleberger is a fun little tounge in cheek, semi illustrated story, just fine for kids of any age at all! 3*

Cynocephali | Gorgon | Gryphon | Harpy | Basilisk | Lycanthrope | Gegeines | Cyclops | Katobleps | Unicorn | Giant Eagle | Ichthyocentaur | Satyr/Faun | Storm Spirit | Laistrygonian Giant | Lares It should be noted that Apollo is the first confirmed bisexual Olympian god in the series as he loved Daphne (who turned into a tree to escape his advances), Hyacinthus (who died due to a feud between Apollo and Zephyros), and Commodus (who was drowned in a hot tub by Apollo himself).

Rick Riordan

Dreams: Similar to a demigod, the mortal Apollo received dream visions. When he was a god, Apollo could send dream visions as a way of communication. Although the mortal Apollo initially had no control over his dreams, in The Tower of Nero he manages to take control of his dreams to spy on Nero, find his fasces and learn the identity of its guardian. With his mind completely clear, his thought turned once again to a difficult decision he had been weighing for months. He wanted to quit the Scouts. His parents had forced him to join, saying it was every guy's duty to serve. Kit had signed up to make his folks happy but never bought into the Scout culture. Apollo is the only Olympian to share his name with his Roman aspect because, in his own words, "perfection can't be improved." In reality the god had no Roman equivalent and was instead imported into the Roman pantheon, his Greek name Ἀπόλλων ( Apóllōn) being Latinized as APOLLO ( Apollō).

Ironically Apollo lies about being the elder twin (Artemis was born nine days before him) despite also being the god of truth. The latter may simply be him messing with his sister for fun (due to her favored form being a 12 year old and his that of a teenager). The Dirt on Our Shoes by Neal Shusterman- This is one of my favorites. This somehow had a well developed world in a very short story. It's set in outer space on a ship that's about to land after being in space for 60+ years. I really loved the setting and connected with the characters surprisingly well. I would love more of this story! 5 stars This means Mount Olympus is virtually unguarded, so Percy and an army of young demigods must stop the Lord of Time. All the while, the long-awaited prophecy surrounding Percy’s sixteenth birthday unfolds. Apollo and Jason meet again in The Burning Maze, where Jason is happy to see him and he gets invited in to his dorm, and sees his plans to honor the minor gods. Apollo is later the first person Jason tells about his plan to sacrifice himself to Caligula. Apollo tries to talk him out of it, but Jason tells him that's what he has to do, but Jason does convince him yo tell Piper about it. Jason then tells Apollo that when he becomes a god again, to remember what it’s like to be human.
