About this deal

I enjoyed "Fir Crazy" because it was more than just another sappy and cheesy romantic Christmas movie. So if you enjoy Christmas movies that offers more than just your average girl dislikes boy, but has to work together for a mutual Christmas goal and ends up in love type of movie, then give "Fir Crazy" a chance. Martin Luther: “The Christmas tree is a symbol of love, not money. There’s a kind of glory to them when they’re all lit up that exceeds anything all the money in the world could buy.”– Often attributed to Martin Luther in reference to his admiration for the beauty of a Christmas tree. A Christmas tree, the perfect symbol of a holiday that blends the glitter of gold with the warmth of a cozy hearth.”– Unknown The one thing Elise MacReynolds ( Sarah Lancaster - Christmas in the Smokies) remembers about Christmas as a child was working on the family fir tree farm and driving down to the city at Christmas to sell them on the lot. It is why she doesn't do Christmas and why she doesn't return home to the farm to see her parents as often as she should. But when at Thanksgiving she gets laid off from her marketing job she finds that the only job open to her is to return home to help sell the Christmas trees during the busiest time of the year. She reluctantly agrees and thanks to the return visit to the lot from the handsome Darren ( Eric Johnson - Call Me Mrs. Miracle) Elise even starts to get in to the Christmas spirit. But her troubles are not over as a the new owner of the neighbouring department store is a money grabbing grouch and wants to get rid of the tree lot and so Elise must find a way of stopping the city from shutting the business down.

When traveling by bus, schoolchildren in Sweden sing "En busschaufför" (Swedish for "a bus driver") or "Vår busschaufför" ("Our bus driver") to the melody. [10] These quotes reflect the deep emotional and symbolic connections many people have with Christmas trees, emphasizing themes of love, family, generosity, and the enchanting atmosphere of the holiday season. Let the spirit of Christmas fill your heart as the lights on the tree fill the room with a soft, gentle glow.”– Unknown It managed to be pretty much all of the above, indicative of me having something of a mixed view on the film (or slightly above that). It is a pleasant watch and does nothing to offend. A lot is done well here. Not much is particularly distinguished at the same time and there is not an awful lot special, so not a "head over heels in love" sort of film. While not doing anything particularly awfully, while there are flaws here other films do them a lot worse. It’s not what’s under the Christmas tree that matters, it’s who’s around it – A Charlie Brown ChristmasWhile looking for another vacancy, she helps out her father who has injured his foot to sell Christmas trees in Manhattan with her cousin. It is a family business but Elise has never been keen in selling Christmas trees from childhood. Charles N. Barnard: “The perfect Christmas tree? All Christmas trees are perfect!”– From *The Christmas Tree*. T.A. Barron:“The Christmas tree, twinkling with lights, had a mountain of gifts piled up beneath it, like offerings at the shrine of some indulgent god.”– From one of T.A. Barron’s works, reflecting the grandeur and generosity symbolized by the Christmas tree.

Sarah Lancaster (playing Elise MacReynolds) actually carried the movie phenomenally well. I can't really say the same for lead actor Eric Johnson (playing Darren Foster), as his performance was sort of bland and mediocre, and he didn't have much charisma on the screen. The movie did have Colin Mochrie (playing Gary Dixon) on the cast list, in a Scrooge-inspired role, and he nailed that with perfection and definitely added a lot to the movie with his performance. The Christmas tree stands tall and proud, a symbol of hope, peace, and the enduring spirit of the season.”– UnknownThe story is the standard narrative for most of the made for TV movies that I've seen. Girl meets boy, they date, there's some confusion as to whether they should be together and then it ultimately ends up that they do get together as you would expect from any romance, but this is set at Christmas. Under the Christmas tree is not just where you find presents, but where you find the warmth of family and friends.”– Unknown Soon Sarah encounters a nemesis -an elderly and unlikeable CEO of the nearby store who sees the sale of Christmas trees as a nuisance and wants to shut Sarah's business down. Also circling the tree lot is Darrin (Eric Johnson), a handsome young man who is apparently attracted to Sarah. Add a few colorful supporting characters and you have the basics for a Hallmark Christmas movie - romantic love and people being transformed by the spirit of Christmas!

The modern lyrics were written in 1824 by the Leipzig organist, teacher and composer Ernst Anschütz. A Tannenbaum is a fir tree. The lyrics do not actually refer to Christmas, or describe a decorated Christmas tree. Instead, they refer to the fir's evergreen quality as a symbol of constancy and faithfulness. [1] It really is a case of Elise and her cousin selling enough trees before Christmas as the boss plans to get rid off the lot. Elise is also attracted by a customer who does a lot for charity. The tune has also been used (as a contrafactum) to carry other texts on many occasions. Notable uses include:O Tannenbaum" by Tobias Widmaier, Populäre und traditionelle Lieder. Historisch-kritisches Liederlexikon des Deutschen Volksliedarchivs (2007) (in German) Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can’t see – The Polar Express These quotes capture the essence of the Christmas tree as a symbol of joy, family, tradition, and the festive spirit of the holiday season. Funny Christmas Tree Quotes The tree is a canvas, and the ornaments are the story, each one a reminder of love, laughter, and light.”– Unknown I planned out our whole day. First, we’ll make snow angels for two hours, and then we’ll go ice skating, and then we’ll eat a whole roll of Tollhouse cookie dough as fast as we can, and then to finish, we’ll snuggle – Elf
