About this deal

Katie: Yes, I already have. I find these nappies a lot softer than other nappies we have used. There were less leakages which means they are more cost effective and comfortable for my baby.

We wouldn't change anything about these nappies – we love them! Tested by mum Sasha Bell for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue. This nappy is without a doubt the best nappy I have used for my little boy. The price, quality and comfort are definite winners for me. I would recommend them to any of the parents of the children I look after at nursery. A lot of my parents struggle for money and these nappies would be great for them. I don't have to worry about any leaks or messes with these nappies and my little boy even wears them overnight without any leaks. They fit my baby really well, the line that goes blue when the nappy is wet is a brilliant feature as I only have to peak at it to know when he needs changing instead of pulling the napoy to the side. We would always choose the Mamia nappies above others on the market, even though we don't regularly shop at Aldi supermarkets. The main reason for us making a special trip to Aldi for the Mamia nappies is because they are so much cheaper than other brands. I absolutely think that they should win a Mother & Baby award! We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.” These nappies seem to absorb liquid better than other brands and therefore my little boy has needed changing less. They are seems softer than other brands making my little boy more comfortable. They last the full night as long as my little one is just seeing which makes night times much easier. No need to disturb my little man to change him. I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin. Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five. Our go-to nappies are Mamia from Aldi. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. They don’t leave my baby with a sore bottom - and I’ve been using since birth! If your baby suffers from leakage, it’s time to go up a size. They’re absolutely amazing value for money. I’m now onto nappy pants and they are fab too! I highly recommend them.”

Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future. Would you choose this product above all others on the market? The award-winning Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies provide your baby up to 12 hours day & night protection. Tested by mum Katie Roast for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” Ellie: The nappy performs as a nappy should do, it is easy to put on and take off and the nappy tabs are easily accessible. There was no stretching of the sides which meant it fitted my baby well and the nappy feels soft which is good when you know this will be used on delicate skin. Would you recommend this to other parents? Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy.

The price is so accessible for parents compared to other brands on the market and they offer the best absorbency and comfort for both our boys.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable. Tracy: I would rate this nappy very highly and believe it does deserve to win the best disposable nappy, they look great whilst being good quality and cost-effective. They fulfil all qualities I look for in a nappy, they do not leak, can last 12 hours overnight and do not irritate the skin. I have a front sleeping baby and found that using other brands they would often leak at the front overnight, but have so far had no such occurrence of this with the Mamia nappies. What changes would you make to this product? Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason. Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables.
