Admittedly, the fact that it hasn’t had a great result in cinemas compared to previous films in the series could mean that it isn’t an exact model for Guardians 3. Disney and Marvel have released two previous Guardians of the Galaxy movies and a holiday special. Those looking to catch up on the series have several options, as detailed below. Although ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ is unavailable on Disney+, as of now, you can watch the last two parts of the film series using your subscription —‘ Guardians of the Galaxy‘ and ‘ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.’ Is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on HBO Max?Following early access, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will then get its full home media release date, which should culminate in standard digital rental. There is no official release date as of yet, but we’re expecting this to come out around the latter half of September 2023. Given that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ is unavailable on any of the digital platforms, there is currently no option for you to stream the superhero movie for free. All you can do is remain hopeful and wait for it to arrive on any online platform offering a free trial. Nevertheless, we urge our readers to pay for the content they wish to consume and stray away from any illegal ways to do the same. If this timeline is the same, then Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 should come to streaming around late-July to early-August at the latest. However, things didn’t go a similar way with Avatar 2, which came out in December 2022 and didn’t come out on Disney Plus until early June 2023. It was made by 20th Century Studios and like Marvel Studios, it’s owned by the Walt Disney Company.

More recently, Marvel has come under fire for reportedly using artificial intelligence (AI) to create the title sequence for Secret Invasion, its latest Disney Plus TV series. Per Polygon, VFX studio Method used AI-based technology to design the sequence and bring it to life – something that hasn't sat right with MCU fans or critics. Here’s the official plot synopsis: "In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them." There’s a little less pressure on Guardians of the Galaxy 3 with it being the series’ swan song and not having to introduce the next big Thanos-level super villain. However, it’s been a troubled year for Marvel, which appears to have resulted in a slightly altered release plan for Quantumania.
