After more or less getting my head around it, I decided to take the plunge and to be honest, it is pretty straightforward when it comes to it. I decided to go with fitting the seat with ISOFIX and then used the top tether, which hooks up to a little bar in the car’s boot to add a little more sturdiness. I would suggest dividing the manual up into step-by-step instructions from start to finish for each of the different possible installation combinations instead of referring to other parts of the manual. I know this would be an increased cost as it would require a longer leaflet to be printed but this could simply be available to access online to save that cost.

I love that you can use the 5-point-harness for so long as this feels more secure that the adult seat belt and also more comfortable. It features a 5-point harness that can be used in Groups 1 and 2 — up to 25kgs or 6 years approximately which is a great safety feature!

What do I do if the instructions for my child car seat are missing?The Cozy N Safe Excalibur Group 1/2/3 Car Seat features an integral 5 point harness which can be used up to 25kg. The Excalibur forward facing car seat features a durable steel reinforced shell, side impact protection, four-position recline and deep padding. This seat is the ultimate way for your little one to travel in style without compromising on comfort. Group 1 2 3 car seats are forward-facing car seats where the toddler uses the seat’s integral five-point safety harness initially or an impact cushion until they are 15kg (Group 1 Isofix car seat) and then uses the car seat’s five-point seatbelt to secure the child and the seat.

What’s more, the seat reclines at the touch of a button – it’s literally that easy – so when she does doze off we can adjust her seat position for maximum comfort. This makes it really easy to pop your little one in and out of this seat - there’s no wrestling with straps over stubborn shoulders, and my daughter is even able to climb into the seat and slip her arms into the straps all by herself. I think for the recline feature, it makes this seat stand out. I also thought it was really easy to fit into the car, I didn’t have to ask my husband to do it like I normally do. It is really well made and feels like it will last for ages.

If the child is too big for their seat, it will not protect them properly and may even injure them in a crash. Fitting the Excalibur car seat is as easy as 123, using simple Isofix connection points with top-tether and/or by the vehicles 3 point seat belt. This means the Excalibur is compatible with most makes and models of cars. Comfort is my priority in a car seat and my daughter just fits this seat better - as if it were made for her.
