He didn't say anything else after that, so Brittany guessed he was either satisfied by what he was seeing or he was really pissed at them for not doing better.

I will say that this book definitely feels very Wattpad-y. The writing is pretty cringy and bad at times, but I can look past that for this absolute classic of a story. The main thing that made the two of them closer than if they didn't share this trait, they were both gay.Finley is like, the kind of bestfriend that teases you relentlessly but will bite anyone else's head off if they do. He's intense about the things and people he likes. favourite moments: the fact that the first dialogue in chapter one is colby asking finley if he would be top in a gay relationship (and the fact that this is the only thing he cares about despite being sent an anonymous picture).

Maybe the pressure of proposing was getting to Ezra a little bit. Okay, alteration for the plan. Ezra would find a way to ask for Trevor's permission to marry his son early into the dinner, they would all have a lovely evening, then as they finished up their meals, Ezra would get down on one knee and propose, Colby would say yes (because why wouldn't he) and then they would all have champagne and celebrate.
