A documentary follow-up to Born Free, entitled The Lions Are Free, was released in 1969. I loved the landscape/location in East Africa and the devotion and love between Elsa and Joy and George. I enjoyed reading this, and look forward to watching the movie. I am delighted that public opinion on the use of wild animals in entertainment has changed considerably since the release of Born Free, and I believe that we should draw a line under that chapter of history while keeping its lessons fresh in our minds.
