About this deal

The Great Patriotic War had scarcely concluded before the USSR began rebuilding and retooling for the Cold War. While Soviet engineers and scientists perfected the now ubiquitous AK-47 and tested the country’s first nuclear weapons, the general population reeled from the catastrophic synergy generated by six years of war and the seemingly endless nightmare of Stalin’s psychotic reign. During the two decades prior to Markov’s birth, the Soviet Union lost approximately 35 million citizens—more than one fifth of its population—to manufactured famines, political repression, genocide, and war. Millions more were imprisoned, exiled, or forced to relocate, en masse, across vast distances. With the possible exception of China under Mao Zedong, it is hard to imagine how the fabric of a country could have been more thoroughly shredded from within and without.” Oh, and though I had booked a 2.5 hour cleaning he arrived 45 minutes late with basically no apology (saying only "oh, you know, the tram") and only stayed for 2 hours and 5 minutes of his scheduled time, although quite frankly, I was happy to see him go. It took him 1.25 hour to vacuum a small space. My flat is only 65 square meters, and I told him to ignore the largest room i the house (son's playroom/bedroom) if he didn't have time. Some in the village felt sure he had invited his own death by robbing the tiger of its kill. 'It became a bit of a joke,' said one local resident, 'that he brought that meat to his own funeral.' Regardless of their other feelings about tigers, the residents of Sobolonye had great respect for the tiger's intelligence and hunting prowess, and the idea that these powers might be directed against them—at random—was terrifying. This tiger’s presence had cast a pall over the village” Your BOOK A TIGER cleaning schedule has already been cancelled and you will no longer be charged. We are working hard to be expand our service and hope to welcome you as a regular BOOK A TIGER customer again soon.

I am a tiger,” declares the main character of this story – although anyone looking at the pictures would probably say they are actually a mouse. Reading books about tigers can promote a love of reading and learning in children. It also helps to develop language and cognitive skills, enhance creativity and imagination, and foster an appreciation for wildlife and the natural world.

In doing so, we guarantee a constant high-quality service and make sure that the TIGERS share our self-conception, high performance standards, customer orientation and are committed to the BOOK A TIGER service. This is a book that can broaden your perspective of not only tigers, but also human proclivities and the paradoxes of evolving Russian life. Logue’s story is like a literary form of a warm and cozy blanket. It is warm and comforting, with a seamless blend of simple language and poetic imagery. However, a few customers felt that the story was not active enough to keep their attention.

If you’re a fan of classic literature, The Jungle Book is a must-read, although some of the stories may not be as suitable for super young children. The language may seem a bit old-fashioned, but that’s also part of the book’s charm. This book will transport you to a different time and place, and leave you with a newfound appreciation for the written word. The simple stories are sprinkled with fun songs throughout, with poetic imagery and plenty of allegories. The book is a hunter's story, along the lines of the search for Lobo the Wolf in the American West. It is very similar in tone and respect. Additionally, the book is full of facts about tigers (who can jump from the water like dolphins, who kill bears on princple, and who sound surprising human), facts about Russia, and about animal biolgoy. The illustrations are stunning with a combination of mixed media paintings on wood and computer illustration. What is sad is that due to the upcoming birth of our baby (and the fact that we will need to wait a year to move into our larger place) I had been very interested in setting up a regular service (perhaps once every two weeks) to make sure our small place stays neat and tidy. Other busy working moms in the area are looking for the same, and I had spoken to three of my neighbors and two coworkers about how I was hoping to register with a regular service and let them know how this went. I told all 5 of them that this was the WORST experience and please not to use them... The text is placed in energetic positions alongside the images so it seems to follow the tiger and the villagers in the story. We have developed a fast and easy online booking process, which means that finding home cleaning ladies or men has never been easier! Here’s how it works: Set in Central India, this book is a series of short fables that anthropomorphize animals to teach moral lessons. Kipling’s fables, which also include tales about a brave mongoose named Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and a young elephant trainer named Toomai, are still widely read today. Typical of a classic, this book (especially Mowgli’s exploits) has been recounted in movies, TV shows, and plays (including two Disney films). Key quote: "Vaillant’s tiger tale is nuanced." Note that the man-killing tiger was injured, and could no longer hunt its usual prey -- as is common in historic man-eaters. And tigers need a LOT of meat to survive a Siberian winter. You do not want to be charged by a hungry, 500 pound tiger! It's quite a story, and I recommend it with a few reservations. 3.7 stars, rounded up. In the course of this account, Mr. Vaillant colors the local characters and the poverty in the Primorski province of the Russian Far East, and makes one contemplate who is more danger to man (Panthera tigris altaica or Hominis corrupti regimen). People and tigers don't coexist well. Especially in a place like Russia's "Wild East." But their population has modestly rebounded since Vaillant's book was written, due to intensive conservation efforts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberia...

Vaillant's book is in part true life animal story, part love poem to the dangerous cat in the world. On one level, Vaillant presents the natural history of the tiger. On the next level, Vaillant discusses the history of tiger resuce and Russia's far East. On the last level, Vaillant tells the story of a tiger's search for vengeance. The bold little mouse declares, “I am a tiger.” and manages to convince a raccoon, a fox, a snake and a bird not only that this is true, but that they are not what they think they are. When a real tiger turns up, can the persuasive and fearless little rodent manage to persuade the tiger that he is a mouse!

Well, here are a few important things to keep in mind: Second bit of true infromation. Tigers are missing what is the tiger version of the collarbone. This allows them to jump really far. An Indian tiger can gain the height of a Asian Elephant quite easily.
