About this deal

June 22: World Rainforest Day, National Chocolate Eclair Day, National Onion Rings Day, National Kissing Day Eva tried to call Shane many times during brunch but got no response. She made up an excuse for him to Audre but Audre saw through it and told her to give Shane a chance. When Shane eventually called Eva, she refused his calls. P.S. I absolutely adored the mention of what might be my favorite Mariah Carey album ( Charmbracelet), but TW: There is also a snarky comment made about her later on (that I may have or have may not secretly laughed at 😡🤣). The characters were both so dysfunctional, still recovering from their pasts. They needed therapy, not to jump into bed with each other! Especially Shane!

This is a special day to share your dolly passion with fellow doll lovers. The day delivers a universal message of peace and happiness. It is usually celebrated on the second Saturday of June every year. This day is celebrated every year on 15 June to raise the voice for caring elders. Elder abuse is a global social issue that affects the Health and Human Rights of millions of older persons around the world. The day was officially recognised by the United Nations General Assembly. All of the characters are so well-written and fully dimensional. I loved all of them, including Audre, Eva’s daughter. She’s precocious, extremely smart, hilariously astute, and well rounded. June 18:International Picnic Day, National Go Fishing Day, National Splurge Day, International Sushi Day Ever read a book that delves into so much that you're kind of at a loss of how to review it because you want to talk about e v e r y t h i n g, so you know you're going to forget most of it? That's me with this book. Also-- this review is dedicated to my cat. I don't think I'd be getting these ARCs as fast as I am if she didn't like sitting on me so much, thereby keeping me trapped in place. Thanks, cat. This day was observed on 26 June every year to make people aware of the harmful effects of drugs and to determine a society free of drug abuse. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly to strengthen global action and cooperation.

Eva starts seeing Shane, and they rekindle their love. It’s clear to everyone at a party they attend, a party hosted by friend and mentor Cece, that they are a couple. Audre approves and spends some time talking to him at the party, and she invites him to come to their mother/daughter brunch before she leaves to visit her dad in California the next day. Present Conflicts I really liked Eva! I felt for her dealing with her chronic illness, whilst working and being a single parent. She was a great character and I wanted the best for her after a rough start in life. Overall, this is truly a romantic read that will make you want the TV version to come out ASAP. Verdict After 7 days, could there be a chance to rekindle what they had and move on together from the past?

Shane was ready to come to Eva but left the choice up to her. However, Audre could tell her mother was missing Shane. She reached out to Cece for help getting her mom and Shane together.June 14:The U.S. Army Birthday, Flag Day, Monkey Around Day, International Bath Day, National New Mexico Day, World Blood Donor Day The Author Resource Round Table on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_folder/116489?group_id=26989 It is observed on 29 June annually to spread awareness about conservation strategies and to promote tropical regions on Earth. When the two meet in high school, it doesn’t take long for sparks to fly. While many have run away or fail to understand Eva’s condition, Shane is sympathetic and concerned.

Eva and Shane had some great chemistry, and definitely had unfinished business! There were a couple of very steamy scenes🔥🔥🔥 This book gave all me all the things, every emotion you can feel, it gave. Told in two different timelines, it was unflinchingly raw and honest and at the same time was layered with so many different types of love. Romantic love, parental love, friendship, student/teacher, community, and culture. From generational trauma, to dealing with a chronic debilitating disability to drug abuse and the struggle of single motherhood, this book doesn't shy away from difficult topics. Shane and Eva burrowed themselves into my heart, their stories are so heartbreaking and tragic but at the same time their resilience and strength is so beautiful and inspiring. I loved this book with my whole heart. 💙 The International Olympic Day is celebrated on 23rd June every year to make people aware of the importance of games in life. Olympic Day is much more than a sports event. It is a day for the world to get active. In a sense, this book was a 5 star read and I can understand and justify that rating. However, I had two major problems with it that made me settle on 4 stars. It's nothing too important but I still couldn't look past it. So here we go: She’s such a beautiful, funny, incredible character. Her dealing with her invisible disability and the pain while working and being perfect single mum really showed how strong her character was. Her life when she was 17 was heartbreaking. What she was dealing with and how she was dealing with it. made my heart hurts for her. She deserves the best 🫶🏻 her character development and how she overcome her past trauma to be the perfect mother for her daughter and the best version of herself made me really proud 🫂 He’s not perfect but he is in my eyes. He was incredibly sweet and understanding. His past trauma and how it made him feel unwanted and undeserving of people love made me so sad 💔 but I LOVED his character development it was one of the best. I loved how he used his past trauma and experience to try and help other young students like him. How he wanted to be there for them because he didn’t want them to experience being alone 🤧 he’s perfect 💘🫂
