Queen Coral was dropping Anemone and Turtle off at Jade Mountain Academy. Auklet was also present, asking to go to school with Anemone and Turtle, but Queen Coral said she could not stand having one daughter so far away from home already. She lectured Anemone that if she felt anything bad, she should return home. She also insisted on seeing everything in the school first before letting them go. Coral’s letter to Starflight about the guide was featured in the beginning of the SeaWing chapter. She wrote a scroll specifically for the guide titled How the SeaWings Ended the Great War and Saved the World which was then featured after. The titles and descriptions of her ten most famous scrolls were featured in the guide. Benthic habitat maps can be used to define reef community biogeography ( Walker, 2012; Fisco, 2016; Ames, 2017). Habitat mapping of the Florida Reef Tract (FRT) on Florida’s Atlantic coast has provided accurate maps and habitat characterization for 955 km 2 of shallow (<40 m) seafloor. Quantitative analyses of the community and habitat data supported the designation of seven distinct ecoregions over 10’s of km spatial scale identifying biogeographic boundaries in southeast Florida ( Walker, 2012; Walker and Gilliam, 2013; Walker and Klug, 2014). There was an overall reduction in community diversity from south to the north changing significantly at the Bahamas Fracture Zone (BFZ) that functions as a divide of sub-tropical and temperate waters on the SE FRT ( Walker and Gilliam, 2013). Habitat mapping on the WFS could be used similarly if it existed. Afterward, Glory wondered if Blister had promised the SeaWings anything, or if she had manipulated Coral into fighting for her. Turtle mentioned Coral in his letter to Starflight, and was also mentioned by Fin in his letter to Turtle, stating that she promised to come to their hatching party and read her next book to them. She was also mentioned in Anemone's letter to Tamarin. Princess Auklet is Coral's youngest daughter, whose egg was saved by Tsunami. Queen Coral seems to love her as much as Anemone. Instead of being afraid every moment of losing her, Coral enjoys simply being with her daughter, and feels at peace knowing Orca's statue was destroyed and her daughters are all safe. Auklet wanted to go to Jade Mountain Academy, but Coral insisted that she was too young to attend.

Queen Coral usually behaved in a weak and spineless attitude around her former ally and obeyed her every decision. She listened to Blister constantly, as though Blister was running the Kingdom instead of herself. It is unknown why Coral chose to support Blister during the War of SandWing Succession. She held a large amount of respect for her ally. In summary, this study mapped a large expanse of hard bottom and identified a major shift in benthic communities around Tampa Bay, FL highlighting the necessity to continue mapping and benthic characterization on the WFS to understand the extent of the resources and identify other biogeographic or ecoregion boundaries. These areas serve as nursery and foraging grounds for economically and commercially important species (e.g., grouper, gray snapper, and hogfish) ( Jaap, 1984; Simon and Mahadevan, 1985; Rice and Hunter, 1992; Thompson et al., 1999; Coleman et al., 2014; Jaap et al., 2014) whose populations are modeled for fisheries management ( Saul et al., 2013). A detailed habitat map will facilitate more precise models of reef-associated species ( Grüss et al., 2016; Grüss et al., 2017a, b). These findings also illustrate a need for additional research of the Gulf of Mexico benthic habitats to give a more comprehensive understanding of WFS marine habitat and benthic community biogeography in the context of future warming conditions and the potential tropicalization of the northern Gulf of Mexico. Undocumented changes in ecoregions and shift in transition locations may be presently occurring. We suggest unifying all presently available seafloor mapping data into spatial and categorical GIS databases, mapping new areas with high probability of hardbottom resources, and collecting benthic community data over broader scales to expand the biogeographic analyses and refine community biogeographic zonation. This is a necessary precursor to any long-term community monitoring to detect spatial shifts in communities and population modeling. Data Availability Statement After Commander Shark, Riptide, and a few SeaWing guards brought Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny to the Summer Palace, they waited for Queen Coral on the top pavilion. Soon after, Coral and Anemone arrived through the underwater tunnel to the Summer Palace, met with respectful bows. Tsunami noticed that Anemone was harnessed to the queen.

During Snowfall's conversation with Sky, Snowfall thought about how Coral had served sea snails during Snowfall's visit. Coral appeared late at the meeting of queens and agreed that her daughter Tsunami should be the SeaWing representative to Pantala. Blister was often seen playing with Coral's emotions and manipulating her decisions. Blister led Queen Coral to let her waste away Anemone's soul daily by allowing excessive animus magic use. At the end of the The Lost Heir, Blister coerced Queen Coral into imprisoning Tsunami. It is not known if Coral regretted these decisions, though it can be inferred that she did. She seemed relieved when Thorn was chosen to be queen, hinting that she may not have really liked Blister nor wanted her to be Queen. It is unknown why she formed an alliance with Blister in the first place. Queen Coral said that Whirlpool was a wonderful teacher and that he would be a perfect king, although Anemone and Tsunami had different opinions. Whirlpool muttered that she could re-marry (most likely he meant that she could re-marry himself), after Moray stated that "no Gill means no more eggs" upon the news of Gill's death.
