About this deal

Need to start with intensity. This Forrest side looks so poor but as we saw last season like 100 times, all we need to do is give them just that little bit of confidence and they'll threaten our goal. No poor passing. No stalling on the ball. It's an obvious window for me where we have looked at how to just take the system we have and play it better

Felipe is an awfully good defender for a team like a Forest to have. I know they’ve been collecting players but he seems a really good get for them If Forest went up you could see them giving us two difficult games at full pelt and being half arsed against City. A lot of clubs hate us, be it historical rivalry or whatever I understand there has been a lot of change. Yes, relationships need to build. But I don't care if they've played together for ten minutes or fifteen years, you cannot lose at home to Nottingham Forest like that. We were so, so toothless. I usually fear the opposition getting a mad flukey goal but, weirdly, I can feel more coming our way.

There is a lot to blame to go around but really thought the keeper should have done something besides falling down Comfortable win. It was too easy and they get one counter and score. But they never threatened us after that. Forest brought in every tall player they could fin in the end lol Good win for the reds. Proper cup tie. Good atmosphere in spite of the usual shite spouted by the scabs. Always been c*nts Forest fans. No class.

this is ripe for forest to score with their first decent shot on goal , we should be 6-0 up and haaland should have the match ball in the bag. If we had a decent Government then I would have had a much harder time of it. Particularly if there had been a plan that kept us close, but not too close, with the EU. Booed off at home and we STILL haven't even got a shirt sponsor, what are these clowns playing at exactly? Your last point there about them being a good team - they are, but are a good Championship side. In Premier League terms, they’re just another Burnley. As mentioned earlier, they went all out to spoil and frustrate with 10 men behind the ball. Yes they defended like lions, but that was wave, after wave, after wave of us thereAlso mikel need to do basic stuff not against different systems but let's not treat teams like Nottingham like we play manutd or Liverpool Cooper said after they were speaking about 'what ifs' that's massive confidence from someone who came in 2nd last time out.

We didn't win ugly though. We almost bottled an easy game against a poor Forest side because we aren't ruthless enough. Winning ugly is something we did last season away against Newcastle. This was just a lazy performance from the team and performances like this will get punished like last season. The 25-year-old Ivory Coast international was a key member of the PSV side who thrashed Rangers 7-3 on aggregate to reach the Champions League group stage - he scored in the first leg at Ibrox - and has caught the eye of many of Europe's top clubs.

They're nowhere near the worst team. They had a dreadful start to the season, but they've got their act together now. Saints, Everton, L***s; all poorer sides. Im not really too bothered with whats happening to the likes of Forest, I think the bottom 4 are so bad that they arent in the discussion. Honestly I think its a 4 horse race of the newly promoted + Bournemouth. I dont think Wolves, Palace, or Fulham are any good, but they probably are the three that end up in spots 14th-16th. Forest dont have to be good to finish 11th-13th this season, and the same goes for us." There are so many things that frustrate me about this Forest team that makes me question what the ambition is for the long term style of play if we do stay up, but I’ve got to say, one thing we all take for granted that you get in abundance from every other teams fans and what we’ve said about forest teams gone by is, not questioning the understanding of what we’re doing on the pitch. Even if it’s not pretty, the players get it, the fans get it, and everyone’s together throughout the match trying to make it get us 3 points. Johnson's move to Spurs may have been painful for Forest, but Cooper was certainly allowed to beef up his squad on a frantic day at the City Ground.
