About this deal

What will happen if I give my plants an ‘overdose’ of Topbuxus Health Mix? Don’t worry, your plants will not be damaged by an ‘overdose’. Grow is fast acting and also long lasting and will continue feeding the plants for up to 2 months from application. Last year I bought some Topbuxus Health Mix for a customer who had a lot of Box hedging, some of it over 100 years old and it was all infected with blight. After 3 months there was a noticeable difference and now all the bight appears to have gone and the hedge has grown about five inches. My customer is ecstatic! If you want a top quality fertiliser for your box plants Topbuxus Grow is a fast acting booster that encourages deep green leaves and healthy growth. The client is totally speechless and has said that her box hedge has never looked so healthy since she has lived there. The firethorn was in trouble and she didn’t want to loose it. Every leaf had brown spot and 3 weeks later maybe a dozen leaves are left with brown spot.

Hi there, I am a professional gardener and my clients gardens range from an acre upwards -most with box . One particular clients box was in a really sad state but after 3 applications of Topbuxus Health Mix we are both amazed. Thank you for this amazing transformation!

When can we expect Topbuxus XenTari to be approved for the UK?

I absolutely love your products, I’m a newbie to box clipping after inheriting 2 that had been neglected & left against a wall for years, both had a flat side, so I re-potted them last year & placed them in the open. Can I apply Topbuxus Health Mix in the winter? No problem at all. If you have Box Blight Topbuxus Health Mix will still be effective but don’t expect much visual improvement during the winter months as the plants are hardly growing at this time of year anyway. When applied at the right moment, only 3 treatments per season are necessary to keep the caterpillar pest under control. The Box tree caterpillar goes through 3 cycles each season, simply apply XenTari once every cycle at the moment when the first caterpillars are spotted. Why do I need to use Topbuxus Grow as well as Topbuxus Healthmix? We’ve answered this question a couple of times elsewhere but these three points help to clarify why you should use both. POINT ONE: There are four primary factors that affect plant growth: water, light, temperature and nutrients. Topbuxus Grow provides all the nutrients in the correct proportions that a Boxwood plant needs. Topbuxus Grow will make your plants grow. POINT TWO: Plant health is a broad term but largely involves protecting and mitigating the adverse effects of pests, disease and other changes that may affect plants. Topbuxus Healthmix will keep your plants healthy. POINT THREE: Plants need to be healthy to grow and to keep healthy they need to keep growing. Topbuxus Grow used in conjunction with Topbuxus Healthmix is a potent combination and will ensure that your plants are constantly in tip top condition.

Nematodes can be effective against Box Tree Caterpillars. The best species of nematode you can use is the Steinernema carpocapsae. Traps and Nematodes are readily available from various outlets online. This moment can be more easily predicted by using a Box tree moth trap to monitor Box tree moth activity, when moths are trapped you can expect new caterpillars a couple of weeks later. XenTari is a biological insecticide containing a natural, potent strain of the microorganism Bacillus Thuringiensis subspecies Aizawai (Bta) that controls caterpillar pests. Boxtree Moth caterpillars are not mysterious super creatures that are impervious to all insecticides apart from Topbuxus Xentari. We still think nothing is quite as good as Topbuxus Xentari, but if you can find an alternative, legally approved, caterpillar insecticide there is every chance it will kill them. Simply put, Topbuxus Xentari is a biological insecticide and is based on the Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. Aizawai. It is extremely effective at killing Boxtree Moth Caterpillars, those pesky blighters that are causing so much damage and grief up and down the country. It is 100% safe for humans, other animals, bees – and birds that may eat the treated caterpillars.Take a small handful or scoop of the Topbuxus Grow granules. Then sprinkle the granules evenly on the soil around the base of each box plant. We would recommend that impervious gloves are used if you are doing it by hand. When used on box in pots and containers (which tend to go a shade of yellow and bronze, especially after a wet winter), you can see the colour returning to the leaves within a week after the first application. Grow formula is an easy to apply granular fertiliser that should be spread on the soil at a ratio of 50 grams per square metre. As with all fertilisers made for root absorption you should avoid getting any on the foliage as this can burn or discolour it. Dilute (as instructed) one 3-gram sachet using water to treat a generous thirty square metres of plants at once. Without the need for a precise scale, you can liberally apply this insecticide without fear that it'll cause unwanted damage to your treasured plants. Keep on reading to discover exactly how to get rid of box moth caterpillars with this treatment. Plants need to be healthy to grow and to keep healthy they need to keep growing. Topbuxus Grow used in conjunction with Topbuxus Healthmix is a potent combination and will ensure that your plants are constantly in tip top condition.
