When I first bought this book I had no idea who Mark Simon was or anything about his work. But after skimming the first few chapters I was hooked and gained a whole new respect for Simon. In writing, storyboarding is a practical method for planning narratives. Initially used in filmmaking, it’s now also applied to novel writing. Most storyboards are drawn and written. As you can see in the image above, you don’t need to be good at drawing. You just need to be able to illustrate what you are imagining.
