Yet we must understand that even though Jesus is talking about an outward reality of a building’s foundation, He is also describing an internal truth—the importance of what we base our lives on and who we are on the inside.

Today, as a mum of two young boys, I see Standing Strong through my ‘Mumma Bear’ eyes. I understand the importance of having a place like Standing Strong for our children. My goal is to continue building Standing Strong as a support network and community of strength for families to lean on, throughout the life changing journey of raising children. I can't imagine learning I had contracted HIV and being able to be so supportive of the "other women". It's amazing, these women were so courageous in what they did. I can't tell you the admiration for them that I felt reading this book. Remember that old movie "D.O.A."? And Standing Strong is no exception. He communicates clearly and offers examples along with scripture to support his arguments. Standing Strong encourages the reader to examine what they believe and how they are building their lives. I took my time reading thru this book as it was so inspirational. He brought out ideas/points I had never considered. I would recommend this book for anyone who really wants to strengthen their faith.This powerful book from the bestselling Dr. Charles Stanley outlines key areas of conviction that can make or break who we are and how we live.
