Honeydukes best chocolate: good for recovering from a Dementor attack

NOTE: Our Skele-Gro potion slime is made using white glue and no glitter. Our Draught of Peace potion slime is made with white glue, neon purple food coloring, and purple glitter. The same slime recipe will work with the white glue too. All the other slimes are made with clear glue slime and corresponding glitter! I did not use food coloring on any of the remaining slimes. HOW TO MAKE LIQUID STARCH SLIME

In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry actually spat the potion out when he first tasted it, leading Madam Pomfrey to chastise him. In the film's following scene, Dobby hits himself in the head with the bottle of Skele-Gro when Harry questioned him about what terrible thing was going to happen to the school. Now if you don’t want to use liquid starch, you can absolutely test out one of our other basic recipes using saline solution or borax powder. We have tested all these recipes with equal success! In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, Madam Pomfrey is out of Skele-Gro, and must make more with the help of Ron and Hermione. Also, the potion appears to work instantly. Linfred of Stinchcombe, an ancestor of the Potter family, was known for having created many medicinal potions, one of which would be used as the basis for Skele-Gro. [5] We call it a Non-Newtonian fluid because it’s a little bit of both! Experiment with making the slime more or less viscous with varying amounts of foam beads. Can you change the density? Did you know that slime aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)?

Skele-Gro: good for getting your bones back

Draco thought maybe Hagrid had drunk too much of this as a child, making him larger than everyone else ( GF24)

STEP 2: Now’s the time to add (color, glitter, or confetti)!Remember when you add color to white glue, the color will be lighter. Use clear glue for jewel toned colors! In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, Madam Pomfrey is out of Skele-Gro, and must make more with the help of Ron and Hermione. Also, the potion is shown to work instantly when used to mend Harry's broken bones. We always like to include a bit of homemade slime science around here! Slime is an excellent chemistry demonstration and kids love it too!Mixtures, substances, polymers, cross-linking, states of matter, elasticity, and viscosity are just a few of the science concepts that can be explored with homemade slime! Skele-gro is a medical potion which regrows bones. The effect takes about eight hours and can be quite painful. History and Notes

Even though it gets far less attention than some of its more famous counterparts, such as Polyjuice Potion, Amortentia, or Felix Felicis, and while it only gets a few seconds of screen time in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the bone-regrowing potion is one of the most recognizable objects in the wizarding world. This is extremely fast if Harry is to bring water into his gills through respiratory power alone. The velocity of normal breathing has been recorded as 1.30 metres per second; 2.46 metres per second is almost twice the velocity of normal airflow, which makes Harry’s gills unfeasible,” they write in the peer-reviewed student journal, which is run by the university’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and intended to give students practical experience of writing, editing, publishing and reviewing scientific papers. The potion was extremely effective when it came to regrowing, growing, and mending bone, but smelled and tasted terrible and it often caused pain. When regrowing an entire bone, Harry Potter described the sensation as having large splinters lodged in his arm. The potion came in a large bottle and smoked as it was dispensed. Swallowing it burned the throat, and, according to Harry, it tasted awful and made him cough and splutter. For a magical treatment, Skele-Gro was surprisingly slow working when regrowing whole bones, taking most of the night to regrow the bones in Harry's arm. However, since he required thirty-three bones to be regrown outright, it is likely that its effects vary with the amount required to be healed or regrown. [1] History [ ]

To recap, some high points for this water bottle: It’s eco-friendly, light, and it will make any fan nod their head in approval. As for the low points: It won’t keep your chosen beverage cold for very long, and the screw top doesn’t make it very practical.
