About this deal

We’re not crazy serious wine snobs by any stretch, but we do care enough to protect our investment in a cheap-ish wine fridge. For years we’ve set the dual zone wine fridge to temperatures recommended by publications like Wine Spectator. To our untrained pallets… everything seemed fine. Maybe a little on the cold side, but not refrigerator cold. But, then we had a son. We spent a ton of time setting up the nursery. Finding the best crib, the best changing table, and obviously set him up with a child safe purifier. Within the first few months we noticed that he always sounded like he had a cold. A trip to the pediatrician helped us realize that it actually wasn’t a cold… he was dried out. Eazy fix, we just moved one of our test humidifiers into his room to get the relative humidity to a more ideal range. To make sure things didn’t get too humid we also enlisted the help of our favorite thermometer/hydrometer. Scroll to the bottom of the following screen (this is the screen with the time graph). You should see "Battery Voltage." To read data, write any 32-bit value to the characteristic (e.g. 0x01000000). This triggers a sensor read. Once the read is complete (typically less than 100ms later), the data will be available to read, in hundredths of degrees Celsius (e.g. 21.34 degrees C will read 2134).

Learn more about changing batteries. Also, if your sensor doesn't respond immediately after changing the battery, here's something you can try. Even at the maximum value of +5dBm, battery life is quite long (over two years depending upon the operation mode and conditions), so this is the value we typically recommend to reduce signal issues. Valid values are: -21, -18, -15, -12, -9, -6, -3, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 SensorPush is a classic example of scratching one's own itch. As homeowners and musicians ourselves, we were unsatisfied with the options available for monitoring and collecting temperature and humidity data. So we set out to build a better option. These steps are in accordance with the oAuth2 specifications such that if any of the three tokens are lost, the tokens eventually expire, thus securing the account once again. If the gateway is ONLINE, and you're getting at least occasional data from the sensor, but it's having periodic dropouts, then please refer to this article for tips on that situation. If the sensor isn't reporting data at all, or you've confirmed that the issues in the previous article aren't causing the problem, it's a good idea to test if the sensor works directly with a phone, so please proceed to the rest of this article.Verify that your WiFi network is using 2.4GHz or is in "dual band" mode (both 2.4GHz and 5GHz). 2.4GHz is the most common type of WiFi, so if you are unsure, you likely already have 2.4GHz. You can also use the button in the top right corner of the LightBlue app to have it perform the hex to decimal conversion for you. Just select the “4 Byte Signed Int Little Endian” option.

Description: Sets the advertising interval of the device, in units of 625 microseconds. The default is 2056, which corresponds to 1285ms.

Your possessions including guitars, pianos and other musical instruments, cigar humidors, wine cellars, incubators, greenhouses, art, family heirlooms, refrigerators and freezers also benefit from careful and precise monitoring. Open the app, and from the main "Devices" screen and select the button in the top left to open app settings. First, Bluetooth must be enabled in your mobile device's main settings screen. The exact location of this will depend on your mobile device, but it'll likely be in a primary settings area, and perhaps in an area called "Connections" or "Wireless settings" or in its own area. It's often near the device's WiFi settings. If you have an Android phone and a few attempts with the above method does not work, try the same process from the beginning, but turn OFF the bluetooth inside app settings and the Android will use a different method to form a temporary connection to the Gateway. Here's how to switch Bluetooth on inside the SensorPush app itself:

One of the biggest gains in terms of range that you get from using a gateway has to do with the fact that it’s not a mobile device. A gateway doesn’t have to go where you go. The gateway stays with the sensors when you leave and it stays in a location that’s best for communicating with your sensors. In quite a few cases, the best location for a gateway to communicate with your sensors might be some place you don’t visit often even if you are frequently nearby, like in your basement, attic, barn, or storage area. You might want to experiment a bit to find a place that has the best coverage of your sensors and still maintains a stable WiFi connection. Add the SensorPush G1 WiFi Gatewayto monitor all of your SensorPush sensors remotely via the internet! Give the SensorPush at least 30 minutes to acclimate, be sure you have an updated reading and then adjust the calibration controls so the value reads exactly 32.0°F (0.0°C) Request a list of sensors. Add the header "Authorization: " using the accesstoken returned in the OAuth Access step. copy to clipboard curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/devices/sensors" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Authorization: " -d @- < curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/devices/sensors" \ It took a long time to accept the fact that the reason we’re always searching for something better is that, at our core, we’re kind of lazy. We want to plop something into a room and have it toil away autonomously. We don’t want to add another chore to our already busy lives.Once in app settings you'll notice a section called "Configuration" with a switch for Bluetooth. Switch it ON.
