The Sauber Group has implemented various measures to actively reduce its CO2 footprint and make its own energy consumption more efficient. Among others, the car park at the company headquarters in Hinwil is roofed with a 2200 square meter solar system that could supply 44 households with clean electricity. According to external calculations by a third-party, solar energy with a CO2 footprint of only 30 grams of CO2 per kilowatt hour is around one fifth lower than the average CO2 footprint of the Swiss electricity mix, which is up to 150 grams of CO2 per kilowatt hour produced. excellent product sizes were perfect and saved me replacing worktops in rental property many thanx. In 2020, Sauber Engineering unveiled a partnership with ABB to leverage e-mobility and carbon neutral development projects, underscoring the commitment to sustainability of the Sauber Group, of which Sauber Engineering is part. As part of the deal, ABB have installed a state-of-the-art EV Charging Station at Sauber Group’s headquarters in Hinwil, providing the latest in fast-charging battery technology to the growing number of electric vehicle users in the company. The charging station, which is also available to the public and therefore benefits the whole community, is powered by the photovoltaic field installed as early as 2012 over the Sauber headquarters’ parking lot – at the time, one of the largest in Switzerland.

Having had a catering sink in our previous house, we really missed it when we moved. This new sink is great - the main bowl is really deep, so we can fit large oven trays in. It was easy to fit (the only hard bit was cutting a larger hole in the worktop, but that's my poor DIY skills with the jigsaw!). It's much more sturdy than the one we replaced and we love the square waste traps - much better than a regular plastic plug! We paired it with a Sauber pull-out tap, which is also great value. TBH, I'm not sure how they can do it for the price! Brilliant looking sink, very good price, looks more expensive than what it was. However the waste set that is sent with it is confusing to put together so I brought a Screwfix one but the pipe size is different so I had to use what came with it, so I hope this never leaks as trying to replace it will be impossible that’s why only 4 star. Recently bought this beautiful sink unfortunately it was too big when it arrived I was really disappointed and worried about returning it. I need not have worried the after sales team were second to none so helpful and understanding would definitely recommend buying from this company This sink is the perfect alternative to regular square and rectangular sinks. Dare to be different with this cool circular design, whilst remaining certain of quality with top-grade stainless steel that is both durable, strong, and easy to clean. Really great product.
