Rollers with stud lining comprise a special pattern of extremely wear resistant tungsten carbide studs which are inserted into the roller surface. The stud arrangement is designed to also form an autogenous wear protection layer from ground material. Thus, stud lining rollers achieve highest lifetimes without any need for regular surface maintenance in grinding applications that do not contain oversized feed material. Our Hydraulic Roller Press offers maximal flexibility as it can be incorporated into three different grinding installation setups: pre-grinding, semi-finish grinding and finish grinding. The original concept for ECONOMY Range cutters was to offer a realistic alternative to the flood of cheaper and inferior cutters available. ECONOMY Range cutters are ideally suited to applications where the renowned longevity and precision finish of our ADVANCED Range is not required. Or for applications that are more cost sensitive or where the working life of the cutter is likely to be short.

Controls

With this roller press there is no danger of unwanted shiny spots. Even rows of buttons pose no problem for the soft, highly-elastic roller. When utilising the Wool, Cotton or Linen settings, the steam can be turned off, giving the user the option to use the R02036 as a dry press. Constant steam is available when using the Cotton and Linen levels. ARROW CUTTERS unique range of transparent cutters is designed to offer the operator a completely unrestricted view through the cutting tool. Differences in the stress distribution on the forming cavity surface and the groove are reduced to the maximum stress distribution on the briquette surface. For the forming cavity, the maximum values fall on the outer sections and take similar values along the entire height of the briquette. At this point, the very high-stress values coincide with the edge wear of the work roller surfaces seen in roller presses. On the other hand, on the groove surface, the maximum stresses for a given width fall on the axis of the briquette, and their maximum values occur only on its upper part. The stress distribution in the forming groove is much more uniform and has a smaller amplitude. For calcium hydroxide, the maximum stress amplitude on the groove surface is 30 MPa, and on the surface of the formed cavity, 45 MPa. For a mixture based on copper ore concentrate, the maximum amplitudes are 46 MPa and 59 MPa, respectively.

The connection between the circumferential speed of rotation of the rolls and the force parameters of the briquetting process was investigated. Graphical and analytical dependencies were established, which show the increase in rolling torque and energy consumption with increasing peripheral roll speed. It is noted that in the studied range (0.1÷0.3 m/s), the density of the obtained briquettes does not change significantly (not more than 3%). The average density of briquettes obtained in laboratory tests is higher than in simulation, respectively, 8.8% for briquettes made of calcium hydroxide and 4.7% for briquettes made of copper ore concentrate, which can be considered a satisfactory result. Roller press categories are based on the relevant bearing size. The smallest type delivers a pressing force of 400 kN, while larger presses can generate a pressing force of up to 20,500 kN. Equipment weights vary between 2 and 400 tons. Reduce steel consumption. When grinding cement, the ball mill has a yield of 300~1000g/t, and the grinding system of the roller press has a yield of 0.5g/t, so it can meet the requirements of white cement.
