Your fingers are the legs (or trunk) of these simple paper puppets. You can make the entire cast of a nursery rhyme or fairy tale in just a few minutes, and then put on your own show. An elephant never forgets– elephants are believed to have good memories, based on observations that in the wild the herd will follow similar paths over many years. They also appear to recognise many humans, as well as other elephants, even when separated from them for decades. The characters as listed on the sales leaflets above and in the Company production records are pictured below. The first two sets of characters were the Alice in Wonderland range and the Cinderella range of characters. They were designed mainly by Gill Leeper. He was a master wood carver and design artist.
