Dr. Monroe and her husband Mike reside in Southaven with their two children. She and her family are members of Getwell Road United Methodist ChurchAfter graduating he attended the University of Mississippi and completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996. He attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tn and graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2002.
