Two years later Impossibrew, based in Durham, was formed, with all the drinks crafted at a brewery in Allendale, Northumberland. Social Lager is a refreshing beer that likely to appeal to drinkers who like a simpler flavour and more fruitiness and complexity than a typical pilsner or lager. We were both quite surprised how “un-beer-like” the Brewdog beer looked in a glass. It was actually a little off-putting. As you can see from the image above, Impossibrew doesn’t suffer the same affliction. His experience reading the book encouraged him to research the effect of botanicals on health and relaxation. The result is the Impossibrew brand, so named because many in the industry with sceptical of a plant-infused non-alcoholic beer. Mark loves beer and started his professional journey into alcohol ever since he was 18. He became one of the youngest French Wine Scholars to get a distinction and has since been awarded multiple WSET industry certifications.
