The Goo Shifters are a fun new way to play with the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Range. They’re still super-stretchy and gooey, but when they’re brand new, you don’t yet know what’s in the core. I was really impressed with the Goo Shifters range. I thought the change in texture of the filling was pretty amazing. I’d be glad to give these as a gift to my nephews and I know a few more will be on Greg’s Christmas list (he’s collecting them).In 2019, Heroes of Goo Jit Zu crash landed onto Netflix, and a new craze was born. In Heroes of Goo Jit Zu, a meteor crash transforms a group of zoo animals into squishy, gooey and stretchy superheroes with special powers. To accompany the hit TV series, a collection of Goo Jit Zu figures were launched. Just three years since that launch and several incarnations of Goo Jit Zu figures later, we have the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Goo Shifters. My daughter loves a good action hero battle and usually has to do quite a lot of persuading to get her twelve-year-old brother to join in.

My daughter had gravitated to Shadow Orb Scorpius who started as a light purple colour. She struggled slightly more to crush the red core than my son but once she managed it she was delighted to see Scorpius turn a darker purple. Kids will love to transform the goo and power-up in the dark with the amazing Goo Jit Zu Glow Shifters! Get ready for some powered-up Glow-in-the-Dark action! Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Glow Shifters are here! Everyone's favourite super stretchy, squishy heroes have returned and are ready to be powered-up! Crushing the core take a bit of effort, so don’t worry, you have no chance of doing it accidentally. Ours took a little bit of squeezing, until a blue liquid burst out and changed the colour of the filling. We thought that was where the difference came, but the following morning, our Tyro was filled with squidgy blue balls! It was such a fun surprise to find that our Hero of Goo Jitzu looked and felt completely different a few hours after we crushed the core. When the figure's core is crushed it activates an amazing colour transformation throughout the toy's goo filling!Both my children loved the new “Crush The Core” Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Goo Shifters. It adds a great new interactive element which my nine-year-old adored and my twelve-year-old announced as ‘cool’ an extremely high compliment from this pre-teen. We started Liquid Gold Pantaro which started out as a light yellow with a blue core. Once my son crushed the core he filled with a gold liquid which had a magical-looking shimmer when moved.Prepare yourself for some Powered-up action with the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu meets Marvel superheroes! Greg was the real person who fully put them to the test, and he was amazed! He’s honestly so pleased with them and he was also fascinated by the change in texture. He also enjoyed the aspect of crushing the core and activating the goo formation.
