Appearing in over 150 theatrically released films and shorts, Donald has the record for most theatrical appearances for a Disney character and he is the most published non-superhero comic book character in the world. In " No Reservations", Daisy with Minnie and Clarabelle attempt to get into the hottest, yet most impossibly booked restaurant in town. However, in The Making of A Goofy Movie, character designer Carole Holliday states that, when designing Roxanne, director Kevin Lima wanted "a character who was 13 years old, and spunky and the most popular girl in the school." Setting aside the latter two points, it is unlikely for her to be 13 during the movie's time since, with its being set at the end of a high school year, the youngest age a high schooler (specifically, a ninth-grader) in the U.S. can be at the end of a school year is 14. Unless she was gifted enough to have skipped a grade, and even if she were, her birthday being in February would still make her turn 14 by the end of the school year. She would have had to have skipped two grades to be 13 during A Goofy Movie, needing to have started high school at age 12 instead. But, the final version of the movie itself gives no reason to consider this to be so, with 15 being a more reasonable age for her. Super Daisy made her debut in "Paperinika and Ariadne's thread" ( 1973). In the comic, Uncle Scrooge calls Donald to the Money Bin to receive a top-secret assignment but refuses to reveal the task while Daisy is present, belittling her for being a woman. Angry and repulsed by Uncle Scrooge's remark, Daisy recounts the story to Genialina Edy Son, who proposes that Daisy becomes the masked champion of the fairer sex. The short stands out among other Donald shorts of the period for its use of modern music and surreal situations throughout. The idea of a permanent love interest of Donald was well established following it. But Daisy did not appear as regularly as Donald himself. Her next appearance in A Good Time for a Dime ( May 9, 1941) features her as one of the temptations threatening to separate Donald from his money. This is most clearly seen in Donald's Dilemma as Daisy is almost to the point of suicide after Donald forgets her.
