About this deal

Side note: The side characters in the book intrigued me enough to want more of their stories. Fingers crossed they get books of their own in the future! Gavin was the sweetest! I loved how he loved Whitley just as she was through it all. Whitley will remain one of my favorite romance heroines, I truly understood her fear of being vulnerable and in love. Everything made perfect sense considering her upbringing, and her personality and I knew that things needed to reach a pivotal point.

No srsly why was it so sad to read this? Like it had no actual flavour. The drama was forced. The plot? Nonexistent. pls someone tell me what was the purpose of this book??? I just read it and I couldn’t tell you what it was about if you put a gun to my head 🤡🤡 PDF / EPUB File Name: Cruel_King__A_Dark_New_Adult_Romance_-_Rina_Kent.pdf, Cruel_King__A_Dark_New_Adult_Romance_-_Rina_Kent.epub There are many obstacles in the way of this romance, in addition to the hit and run. Both Levi and Astrid have issues at home and at school. The story is just so good, I couldn’t stop reading till I finished. It is truly one of the best bully romance books I have read. I really liked the characters and many of the supporting characters. They were well developed and had great personalities. There were a few darker supporting characters as well that were portrayed perfectly. Certainly there was more than one villain in this book! Though It is not always easy to determine who is really a villain. On her first day at Royal Elite School Elsa meets Kim, a girl who is sneaking around the edge of the crowd of students and she figures that Kim is a girl like her, who just wants to keep her head down and get through high school so she can get into a good college. They become immediate friends. Then she sees Aiden on the field with his friends. She meets his eyes and can’t look away. He then comes up to her and tells her that he will destroy her. First, let me tell you I recommend reading the prequel Cruel Kiss before reading this one. However, you don’t need to read the rest of the books of this series to jump into Cruel Kiss and Cruel King. I’ve been anticipating Gavin and Whitley’s story since meeting them in Cruel Truth! Couldn’t believe it when I finally got it on my Kindle! How was the this published last year!? I thought this was an olddddddd work of Rina Kent, hence the absolute absurd personalities of the characters. But no this was published in 2020. Maybe the pandemic hit her a little too hard. He was selfish, arrogant and notorious dictator of Egypt. He proclaims himself as god and forced people to believe and worship him as a god, if people denied him then he gave very ill and pathetic punishments. There is legend that- after his death, no land, fire accepts his last rituals and as a result, his dead body is still kept in the museum. Interesting fact about his dead body is that his weight will automatically increase and his body won’t spoil. I actually had an entire review planned out in my head of me just hating on this book, but I realized that I didn't have to waste energy writing a review for a book that doesn't even deserve one *writes one anyway* They say it doesn’t take long for your life to be flipped upside down. A moment. A second. And it’s all over. I should’ve known. If I had, I would’ve done things differently. Maybe I would’ve walked the other way. Maybe my tale wouldn’t have ended the way it did. But the thing about ‘maybes’? They’re useless.” I couldn't get the words out that I needed to say to make this real. Because, without them, was this all as real as we claimed it was?"

This was terrible. Okay so this is a contemporary high school bully romance which some people are into, and I'm not judging. I'm somewhat of an enemies to lovers connoisseur myself. Although bully romances aren't my first choice, depending on my mood I could be interested. But this was just... awful lol The final two finally get their own book. Gavin and Whitley were the last two from this fun group to get together and their story was so fun and I loved every minute of the ride. I also loved seeing all the characters we've come to love and what they are doing in their lives as well. But really, this couple was probably the most fun and least angsty of the group (though not completely devoid of angst because it's K.A. Linde, so there has to be some). I really enjoyed Whitley and Gavin’s love story. It’s full of fun and playful moments but also gives us heart and emotion. When Whitley runs into Gavin and you can tell there is something there even if they don’t know it yet. You can feel their familiarity and they have a great time together. I loved how they rekindle their friendship and was so excited when Gavin finally asks Whitley to be his fake girlfriend because I really wanted to see these two end up together. The subject of a three-part Shakespearean drama cycle, Henry VI was made king before his first birthday but spent his final decades battling mental illness as his kingdom lost land to France and slid into the chaos of the War of the Roses. Never a strong leader, Henry suffered his first full mental breakdown in 1453, which left him in an incommunicative stupor for more than a year. After a temporary recovery, his condition worsened in 1456 into lethargy punctuated by a routine of religious devotions. He was deposed by Yorkist forces in 1461, exiled in Scotland, briefly restored to the throne in 1470 but then reimprisoned and murdered the next year. 4. The Zhengde Emperor of China (1491-1521) Okay lol. I avoided writing the review but then I couldn’t not vent about this book when I basically crawled through it fighting for my life jaksjdkdkI really enjoyed Cruel King, I could not put it down! I loved Whitley and Gavin they are such great characters that gripped me from the very start, well to be honest they've always intrigued me from the previous books in this addictive series! I cannot wait for what K.A Linde does next! Without giving too much away, the story follows the adventures of the previously mentioned young girl named Yuu. She is an interesting character because she effectively has two birthrights. Not only is she the adoptive daughter of the mighty Dragon King, but she’s the biological daughter of a great hero who left her in the former’s care before he died. Despite never really knowing her father, it is her dream to follow in his footsteps and become a great hero. To fulfil this dream, she spends her days training and her nights falling asleep to the Dragon King’s stories about how the great hero bested the ruthless Demon King. He’s no fairy tale king. Levi Here, little princess. I’m your king. You have three rules. Bow. Break. Bend the knee. Fight me all you want, but soon enough, you’ll be chanting long live the king. Astrid One day I’m Royal Elite School’s small fly, the next I’m hunted and left to die. He doesn’t only shred my life to parts, but he’s also coming after my heart. He thinks he broke me, but the new princess will bring the king to his knees. Aside from the previously published book, this version contains a never-published-before bonus scene. Cruel King is a complete standalone in Royal Elite world. No book should be read prior to this. Disclaimer: This is a high school bully romance, mature new adult, and contains dubious situations that some readers might find offensive. If you’ve been looking for a hero, then you won’t find it in Royal Elite. If you, however, have been itching for anti-heroes and villains, then welcome to their royal court. Cruel King (Royal Elite, #0) by Rina Kent – eBook Details With those big puppy dog eyes begging me to agree, claiming I’m the only one who can pull it off, I say yes. What could go wrong? Other than pulling it off so successfully that the line between real and fake blurs. Deviant King is the first book in a series, so be prepared for a cliffhanger ending. I got enough answers for me to not feel super frustrated by it, but it still left me reeling. I can't wait for the next installment, Steel Princess! Hopefully, we finally get some of Aiden's POV, because so far, the story has been in Elsa's entirely.

spoiler alert: she never reported him for harassment and he just kept doing it AND still fell in love with the bAd EvIl BoY😍 #goals Gavin, ever the playboy had no desire to settle down. However, after spending three years without his wingman he knew he wanted more than just one night stands. Whitley's return opened his eyes to his true feelings, if only he could convince her to give a relationship between them a chance. His plan, ask her to pose as his girlfriend for a wedding for a family member in Texas with the hope she would come to realise they were meant to be. Whitley agrees, but like all things that are built on lies his plan takes a disastrous turn. Levi is aggressive, impulsive, bossy and intense while Astrid tries to be invisible while dealing with her own grieve and family issues, therefore she can't help but get involved by all Levi's intensity and attention. h was a virgin. Don't think she's ever had a BF & likely not have dated in the past 2 years since the car accident she was involved in which killed her beloved mom. 18yo H is a known player in their high school who get hit on by girls. And sexual sharing seems to be common with him & his soccer teammates.

LEVI, I used to like his character, but know I just think he's a pompous asshole with an ego bigger than the Empire States Building, his possessiveness was over the top and annoying as hell, I really hated it. Closure: This had a cute ending with pretty good closure. It includes a bonus scene after the epilogue that I appreciated, but the author offers another bonus scene for what I imagine is more closure if you sign up for her newsletter. I didn't do that. I'm going to classify this as a HFN ending they're engaged.

Aiden literally threatens to assault Elsa because she calls him 'Aiden' and not 'King.' This is so extra I can't. There is something innately magical about a good old-fashioned fairy tale. From Snow White to Hansel and Gretel, the stories they tell are ingrained in our lives, so it’s hard not to feel a little nostalgic when booting up The Cruel King and the Great Hero for the first time. Levi King es todo un bad boy medio asshole, jugador estrella del equipo de fútbol, que quiere poner de rodillas a Astrid, tiene sus motivos para acercarse a ella, al principio la trata mal pero conforme va avanzado la historia se va enamorando.I clutch Nicole’s shoulders, about to push her away when a small gasp reaches me from the entrance. He is well known for his whim of action because he never trusts people and he beheads every suspect in his life without any trial. He beheaded around 5 million people to gain power.
