CD players have several layers of error detection and correction. You will sometimes hear the B3 slow down if it has difficulty reading a CD. The Web UI has a number of panels that are pretty much available in all the views - although there are some differences in implementation. Now Playing There isn't any documentation for Bluetooth Out yet but you should be able to work it out. You can drive it from the front panel or the original web UI (Cog then Bluetooth). The queue mechanism leverages the playlist functionality so you will see it creates a temporary playlist called Queue. This is the most requested function on the forum so let me know what you think and let me know of any side effects. As far as customer service goes, for me this was a big issue for new electronics. I read that Novatron was faster in responding than Brennan, but that could be anecdotal. Novatron is made in Korea, Brennan in the UK. I actually like the idea of supporting private innovating entrepreneurs like Brennan, but when it comes to service, I think the bigger company delivers.

In my case, this wasn't true, when i opened the box, it looked brand new, all the wires were neatly bundled, everything was wrapped in plastic, there was a protective film over the display but when i plugged it in there was already 334 songs by 30 artists installed on the HD.. in effect, someone else's music library so in reality it was pre-owned. The biggest difference is the hardisk memory capacity. The x-14 can take up to 8 TB, whereas the Brennan only about 1-2 TB max. And the cheaper models of the latter only use SD memory cards, which to me seems like a rip-off. Yes you have to buy the disc or sshd on the x-14 separately and install it yourself, but its very easy, and the company will walk you through it. To me it was worth it. And the price is cheap for 1-2 TB. And if you want to increase later, you can import the pre-existing DB. You cant do that with the Brennan.
You can use playlists to create collections belonging to different family members, different genres and moods or for special occasions. Spotify Rebuilds an index of the music on the hard disk. Useful if B2 was turned off while busy. Turn off and on then do this first if you have any problems.
