About this deal

Aria Scuderi is chosen and betrothed, at age fifteen to twenty year old mobster, heir and future Capo dei Capi of the Familia, Luca – The Vice – Vitiello. She is sent off to an all-girls school awaiting her impending marriage. Fearful of her husband and of leaving her family, yet bound by honor she marries Luca at age eighteen. Every moment of the day I think of the things I want to do to you, catch myself remembering your taste, your smell. Sometimes I think I'll go insane if I don't bury myself in you." Matteo has been intrigued by Gianna from the moment he met her. Their story has been two books in the making, and their fiery personalities match each other's perfectly. Nine words to describe Aria: Naïve, insecure, sweet, timid fearful, observant, loyal, meek and honorable. Each of the books in this series are stand-alones, so they can be read separately, but I honestly feel you should read the first book because the characters in the first book do make appearances in this one too.

En los libros anteriores no la soportaba en el de Aria y Luca yo estaba ay SHUT UP Gianna me desesperas casi casi como Kiko del chavo del 8 y aquí dije Dios dame paciencia porque la quiero matar. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a evenly paced mob romance that will have you feeling a spectrum of satisfying emotions :) Aria and Luca's relationship took a bitter turn because Her elder sister obviously can't leave her unprotected while she ran away

The book's only saving grace was the hero, Luca. He was hot, kind, dominating and at times vulnerably sweet. He kept all his promises to his wife and tried his best to work through different situations even when his wife and his sister-in-law was throwing things around and provoking him. I didn't really feel the chemistry between Aria and Luca. Like, they barely talked. I felt like I didn't actually know them, at least that they didn't know each other.

These are the top two qualities about him I loved most. How he fought the world for his wife I Loved it about him. I was in awe of him because of that. Dante Cavalloro, Head of the Chicago Outfit, a broken man who killed the woman he vowed to love until death, a heartless devil without mercy, a cold hearted bastard who doesn't trust anyone. The soft threads on his head might look like sunshine but the thoughts and feelings inside is lifeless and full of dark storms. I didn't feel like Luca was such a badass, cold bastard when he was with Aria. Which kinda ruined the image of him. sweetheart you will kiss him, seek physical closeness but yet your prejudice was so big that you will spite him, insult him

Many of Shakespeare’s works examine the duty children and younger generations within a family owe their parents, or the older generation—in Hamlet, King Lear, and The Merchant of Venice, for example, Shakespeare interrogates filial duty, familial honor, and the difficulties of seeing a parent’s will through. In Romeo and Juliet, however, Shakespeare turns this interrogation on its head. While a child’s honor-bound duty to his or her parent is complex, to say the least, in the world of Hamlet and King Lear, in Romeo and Juliet, it is portrayed outrightly as an absurd, punitive, and even cruel demand. Romeo and Juliet are bound to honor their families’ hatred of one another—when each learns who the other is after falling in love at a party at the Capulets’ home, they are crestfallen to realize that they are enemies by default. Of course, Romeo and Juliet are not, as individuals, each other’s enemies—but the codes of honor their parents have thrust upon them demand that they hate one another simply out of duty. As Romeo and Juliet secretly conspire to shirk that duty, surrender to their love for each other, and marry in great haste, Shakespeare points out the ridiculousness of feuds and grudges like the one between the Capulets and Montagues—ancient resentments whose root cause no one alive can even remember. Shakespeare shows that it is the very fact that Romeo and Juliet’s love is forbidden which spurs their passion—as young teenagers, they long to get in trouble and defy their families, and marrying one another is the ultimate transgression against their parents’ wills. My lips trembled against his mouth as his eyes bored into me. Their message was clear: You are mine." The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made reader love them, they made reader sad, they made reader angry, they made reader laugh, they made reader cry, and they made reader believe in the promise of love and home. It is an extraordinary piece of work, a perfect balancing act with terror on one side and love on the other. El Don la Mafia de New York y el Don del Outfit de Chicago han sido enemigos durante mucho tiempo, pero al verse amenazados por la mafia Rusa y Taiwanesa deciden unir fuerzas. Y que mejor modo que uniendo la familia, casando al Príncipe de la Mafia de New York con la mujer más hermosa del Outfit.

sisterly and brotherly bonds in this series make me regret I have no siblings. Aria&Gianna and Luca&Matteo dynamics are woven so magically. You can feel how close they are: they'd bleed, kill and die for each other. 🥺🥺🥺Bound by Honor was well-written and the pace was great, I found myself invested in the characters and the story. It wasn't without fault and honestly wasn't profound or anything - but it was entertaining. Dante and Valentina's story was a lot more complex and dare I say morbid? The MC's were both previously married but their spouses have since passed away. Dante's wife passed away 4 years ago and Valentina's husband just recently. Now here's where it got angst ridden and frustrating for me. Valentina never loved her husband not as a wife should at least, I won't tell you why but their marriage was certainly one of convenience. Dante married for love, he adored his wife for 12 years until she succumbed to cancer. She was his entire life and he would have probably never married if his father hadn't insisted and the fact that he was beginning to look weak in front of his men, and that was dangerous since he's the reigning boss for the Outfit. Like the previous two books, this one is sprinkled with some editing oversights. There are enough instances of these grammatical mistakes to be noticeable, but not so many that the story is ruined.

I hated everything about Gianna in the glimpses we got of her in the first two stories. She's such an obnoxious, hateful and mouthy bitch to everyone. My biggest pet peeve in stories are unlikable heroines and Gianna fit the bill for that perfectly. AND she was a selfish asshole. I was originally going to skip this story all together because I knew I'd still hate her, and life is too short to read unlikable bitch heroine stories. I dunno. You would think that after reading a million Harlequins i would not be so critical, but I am. I feel I have to warn you that if you haven't read the first book then this review will be slightly spoilerish. This book has a lot of angst, Gianna is torn between what she knows is wrong (mob life) and her attraction to Matteo. The fact that she's attracted to him make her feel even worse about herself, she knows about the kind of man he is, the men he's killed without remorse. Whenever they're in the same room she lashes out at him, basically being a bitch. I'd be lying if I told you I hated this, I love abrasive heroines especially if the hero is persistant, broody and completely alpha. I didn't like Gianna's stubborness... Because even though she wanted to dress it up as a proud was still stubborness... Yes, she was brave enough, but i didn't like the fact that she alouded to the others to think nasty and untrue things about her.... I didn't like that she was trying to fool herself about her feelings toward Matteo, even though i liked that all the time she was trying to conviece herself that she didn't feel anything about him...I love how you blush whenever I say something dirty. I can’t wait to see your blush when I do something dirty to you.” Gianna wants nothing to do with Matteo, as well as mafia lifestyle in general. She's spirited, loud-mouthed, and stubborn to a fault. I’d turned fifteen four months ago. My birthday had felt like a huge step toward my future, and I’d been excited. Silly me. My life was already over before it even began. Everything was decided for me. So the cheating for me was not the major issue, it was safe sex. Also, speaking a woman who was unable to take the pill due to clots, he was more than selfish in his demands to her. The pill can cause blood clots that can lead to death. I know it's rare but it does Happen. Aria is a mob daughter who is betrothed to a made man named Luca when she is only 15 years old. Their relationship was one that had me rooting for a happy ever after while at the same time wishing Aria would give Luca a taste of his own damn medicine. I was drawn to Luca because of his mysterious bad boy persona and felt understanding towards Aria and the fears that she felt when coming face to face with the fact that she would be marrying someone she barely knew. This isn't a story about perfect people finding their happy ever after, this is a story about a man who found acceptance and love from a woman who stole his heart and vise versa, despite their differences.
