Avengers Tower aims to be the ultimate Avengers set, containing as many characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as possible. In sheer quantity, the set certainly succeeds, but I find some of the character choices underwhelming. After all, almost all of the major heroes have appeared many times before and few are improved here. More dual-moulded pieces or printed arms would not have gone amiss. Dr. Erik Selvig and Dr. Helen Cho, meanwhile, are making their first appearances in LEGO form. Selvig is portrayed by Stellan Skarsgård, so fittingly features the same head as Luthen Rael from 75388 Ambush on Ferrix. The medium blue shirt developed for 21328 Seinfeld also works nicely, so I think the use of existing elements for Erik Selvig makes sense. James Rhodes in casual attire would have been a welcome replacement for Wong. Instead, he wears full War Machine armour. This minifigure debuted in 75216 Iron Man Armoury and looks outstanding, displaying intricate detail across his torso and legs. The metallic silver accents are especially striking, in combination with the predominant pearl dark grey. Avengers Compound Battle encapsulated issues which affect numerous Marvel Super Heroes sets, including unfortunate inaccuracies and superfluous vehicles. Those issues were understandable, given the notable secrecy surrounding Avengers: Endgame. 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle therefore improves upon its predecessor quite dramatically! Which shouldn’t happen. Something like this should make me stay awake at night thinking about how much I want it." A remarkable 31 minifigures are supplied, more than any other set. Beyond the original six Avengers, this selection contains revised versions of Ultron MK1, Vision and Falcon, with multiple characters appearing for the first time. Given their sheer quantity, the minifigures alone warrant their own review.
One minifigure features a trans-light blue head beneath the helmet, while the other includes Tony's double-sided head. As always, the heads-up display looks great, but I think this would have been a good place to introduce a new head for Tony Stark, given the piece has now been featured in 28 sets! The standard trans-light blue repulsor accessories are also included. The opportunity to join employee-run networks that have been established to provide advice and support and to enable the views of employees from minority groups to be expressed direct to senior management. There are currently networks for employees of minority ethnic origin, employees with disabilities, employees with caring responsibilities, women employees, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. Luis' notoriously ugly Ford Ecoline van, which was introduced during Ant-Man, is exclusively available here and appears suitably hideous! The boxy shape seems authentic and I love the dubious reddish brown, dark brown and medium nougat colour scheme. The model measures 14cm in length, thereby resembling various City vehicles in scale and proportions.
Wasp comes with an alternative hair piece, but features the same head as Pepper Potts, which serves to highlight the need for an improved variety of female heads. Ant-Man is also included, in nanofigure form. The figure last appeared in 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle and I am pleased to see it available again, although a proper minifigure would have been better still. If we receive high volumes of applications, we will sift only on thelead behaviour of “Changing & Improving”.

Avengers Tower remains the most recognisable setting from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and offers huge potential for a large-scale recreation, populated by as many characters from the films as possible. The striking 76269 Avengers Tower surely delivers in that regard! HMCTS offers a flexible working system in its offices and hybrid working between office and home is standard across the team. Thanos appears delightfully silly when imprisoned, barely squeezing inside the modest prison cell. There are alternative uses for this space which may have been more appropriate, notably including the time machine, but I am satisfied with this prison. After all, the time machine would have needed significant scaling down and could potentially appear at a realistic size in a future set. The truncated bonnet definitely appears reminiscent of City vehicles and the simple radiator structure looks excellent. Furthermore, I like the angular bumper which seems realistic, even though Luis' van should include a bullbar. The medium nougat stripe looks rather bright when compared with the original van but I think this shade is more appropriate than dark orange, for example.

The dark brown band looks particularly effective and I like the curved wheel arches, which have never appeared in reddish brown before.
