Varipump can be installed either dry, as part of a gravity fed filtration system, or submersed in water, as part of a pump fed system. When installing in gravity fed systems ensure unions are fitted (not supplied) to enable removal of the pump for cleaning and maintenance. We recommend using Evolution Aqua unions (EA CODE: K82-76-55) for the 10,000 model. Use unions (EA CODE: K82-76-66) for the 20,000 and 30,000 models. Varipump can be submersed in water, as part of a pump fed system. When installing on pump fed systems ensure we recommend using the hosetails provided to connect up to flexible hose (not supplied).

As all the Varipumps use less than 700watts so 3 amp fuse is suitable. The cable from the mains to the control box is 2metres, the cable from the control box to the pump is 10metres, this makes the total length 12metres.
