About this deal

My second Armaf clone of a Creed fragrance after Club de Nuit Intense and despite slight weaknesses the much better one!

Pride of Armaf isn’t nuclear, but it’s not weak either. You’ll still get 6 hours of life out of this fragrance – and probably more in warmer weather. Top Notes: The base becomes pleasantly creamy, also slightly spicy, which gives the fragrance a pleasant softness and comes from sandalwood. Projection is in that perfect arms-length sweet spot. It leaves a nice scent trail as you walk for the first couple of hours, before becoming a skin scent for another 2 – 3 hours. Like all fragrances, Armaf’s colognes are available in two different types of concentrations. There’s Eau De Parfum (EDP) and Eau De Toilette (EDT). EDP is richer and longer lasting, while EDT is lighter and fresher—making it perfect for hot weather. It’s also less harsh than Ventana, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something 100% safe and accessible.Personally, I’ve got no problems with Armaf taking a leaf out of Creed’s playbook. I’m just happy that there’s someone out there keeping pressure on them to match their prices to the quality provided. Top Notes:

Summer – the vacation and warm weather, let alone the magnetic pull of the sea, ask for rose, jasmine and mimosa tints. That is when Tres Bon will come of use. It’s crisp, fresh, and citrusy with notes of lemon, bergamot, mandarin orange, lime, and grapefruit. If I were to liken it to anything you may have tried before, it’s similar to Aqua Gio by Giorgio Armani. As such, make sure you only use 2-3 sprays if you’re going to be in an enclosed space like the office or public transport. Otherwise, you might risk offending those near you. Over the past few years, I’ve found the best Armaf colognes to be a great way to smell luxurious and expensive for a fraction of the price.

Already in the top note a somewhat conspicuous aromatic, deep, spicy, discreetly earthy note is perceptible, which builds up a little more in the heart note and I am probably one of the few, who quite like this scent note - it may only not be used together with clary sage - at least on my skin. Performance has little difference. Creed has perhaps slightly ahead. Both hold quite well for a fresh fragrance. At least 5-6 hours with anafngs very good sillage. Armaf’s Tres Nuit is a 9/10 from me. I have to take a point off because I would prefer it lasted a little longer, but beyond that, it’s all here. I honestly don’t feel the need to buy Green Irish Tweed anymore because of it.

Spring – the season of happiness and bloom begs for citrus, minty and basil-like notes. Think Tres Nuit. Beautiful green tea accords in the heart add a streak of vitality and natural earthiness to the blend. A bit of the lemon verbena hangs on through the mid of lavender and violet and leads to a classic musk/sandalwood base. Performance is very good and it does project well. I think it's youthful enough for those in their 20's and certainly office worthy and can be worn year round. The bottle is a bit goofy and unwieldly and creativity may be required to fit neatly in a tray of other bottles. Armaf’s colognes are available in a variety of scents. Which one you choose will be determined by the smells you enjoy and when you plan to wear it.
