The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a decent flagship from the company. It comes with an improved design and improved battery life. It also features better cameras. However, it is still facing stiff competition from rivals. This is still Samsung’s best screen, but for many other reasons. We found the 6.8-inch body to be easier to grasp than the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, and that’s in large part thanks to the curved display and overall narrowness of Samsung's device. The curved edges are subtle on the S21 Ultra, and not quite as pronounced as on past Samsung devices, and that means fewer errant presses. The base-level 128GB of internal storage with 12GB of RAM might not be enough for everyone. You’ll want to either pony up for the version with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, or max out at 256GB of storage with 16GB of RAM. The RAM won’t make much of a difference in a phone, but you’ll definitely notice if you run out of storage space. The S21 Ultra is able to record 4K videos at 60 frames per second. It can also shoot 12-bit raw files. This means that the camera can edit the fine details of an image before sending it to your computer. That said, while that's the list price, many stores are now selling the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for less. You can expect the price to continue dropping over time. What else is new? Well, there's the Single Take 2.0 feature. This allows you to capture fast-changing scenarios by taking multiple photos and then selecting the best one. The Single Take 2.0 feature also records a short video clip of up to 10 seconds. Overall, though, the S21 Ultra lags slightly behind the Snapdragon 888 (tested in the Xiaomi Mi 11) and is no match for the as-yet-unbeatable processing speeds of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Where the Galaxy S21 Ultra has seen the biggest improvement is in the graphics rendering department. With an average frame rate of 93fps in the GFXBench Manhattan on-screen test (at native WQHD resolution), the S21 Ultra’s GPU performance is almost double that of last year’s S20 Ultra. Drop the screen resolution down to FHD+ and the frame rate jumps to 118fps.

First, you'll want to make sure that you're using the right charger. There are many different options, but most should work with Samsung devices. For example, the Aukey AirCore Wireless Charger is a good choice if you're looking for a wireless charger that supports wireless earbuds. The need for resolutions higher than Full HD among smartphones was being driven by VR headsets – you could see a ‘screen door effect’ at lower resolutions when the pixels were so close to your face. But Samsung, along with the entire mobile industry, seems to have cooled all phone-based VR initiatives. Proximity Sensor, Hall Effect Sensor, Light Sensor, Gyroscope Sensor, Accelerometer (G-Sensor), Magnetometer, Fingerprint Sensor With the Android 12 update, One UI has been updated with some nifty new features, including a new home screen widget that allows you to easily access your favourite apps.Having a stereo speaker in your phone can make a big difference in the audio experience. Using a pair of speakers means that you will get richer and deeper audio. The chip has improved battery life as a result - the Exynos 2100 has a 20 percent decrease in power consumption compared to its 7nm predecessor. So, whether you're looking for a battery-only device to enjoy a full day of activity, or a device to get through a short trip, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the best all-rounder phones on the market right now. Compared to the S20 Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a few key improvements. First off, let's start with the camera.

As some of you may already know, Samsung uses two different chips in their Galaxy S phones depending on the market and the UK is getting the other new and improved chip Exynos 2100 instead of the coveted Snapdragon 888. They are both designed by Samsung, so there isn't a compromise here. The Exynos chip is significantly improved and offers pretty much the same specs as the Snapdragon 888, so the performance should be highly satisfying for the S21 users. But only time will tell if there is any noticeable difference between them or not. Massively Improved Cameras and Decent BatteryThe cameras also receive their fair share of upgrades this year. Indeed, the Ultra is the only S21 phone to come with a 108MP (f/1.8) main camera and it also comes with a pair of 10MP telephoto lenses. This is bad news for consumers who are looking to make the switch from iPhone to Samsung, since the Galaxy S21 Ultra charges via USB-C and thus doesn’t support Apple’s Lightning cable. Perhaps a more consumer-friendly tactic would be to provide a choice as to whether or not the charger was included, instead of removing it entirely. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra review: Display
