Many times, your headset products start beeping due to low battery and it requires charging. This is perfectly normal with Razer ManO’War beeping as well. The Man O’War excels in gaming applications. It’s comfortable to wear for long periods of time, has a sound signature that’s well suited to games, and can be easily adjusted with the Synapse software. This makes you walk away from your system while the headset being attached and the sound still playing. But moving at great distance and interference of many layer of walls might cause Razer ManO’War to beep continuously.

Here are a few reasons for this issue, and more importantly here are some solutions for them as well. How to Fix Razer ManO’War Not Charging? While I wasn't hugely impressed with the build of the ManO'War, the sound quality is very good. I wouldn't class myself as an 'audiophile', but I did appreciate the balanced audio provided by this headset. No single area of the sound profile seemed overpowering, and I appreciated the amount of bass. Set the Bass Boost to 80, leave the Presence Level in the middle and set the Volume Level somewhere around +15. This set isn’t limited by any kind of cable, as they’re wireless headphones that can be connected through 7.1 Bluetooth. I'm not a fan of the ManO'War's general design. This headset is enormous, particularly the huge circular earcups with copious padding and large plastic surrounds. It's approaching the point of being too cumbersome, and it's certainly much larger than more neatly-designed headsets like the Cloud Revolver.In the world of surround sound headsets, you either get a set of cans with multiple drivers built into them or audio devices that simulate the effect virtually. The ManO’War falls into the latter camp, using an extra-large 50mm driver to basically cover your ear and project directional soundwaves. If you are watching a video with sound and your Razer headset beeps in between and interrupts the sound it usually means that the Razer ManO’War has low battery and it needs to charged as soon as possible. To make this problem go away charge your headset. At times, it felt a bit ridiculous to wear something this large on my head, however I imagine some gamers will appreciate the massive, circular design used here. In fact two other TechSpot writers particularly liked the circular padded design of the Razer, go figure.

The ear pieces are covered with a comfortable, supple foam sheathed in soft leather. The top piece has a gel pad that keeps the plastic cross brace off the top of your head, but it's a little too rigid for my liking. Razer's 7.1 surround sound implementation is superior to a number of other solutions I've tried, particularly after you calibrate the headset using the utility in Synapse. When each channel is properly tuned for the best directionality, the ManO'War provides a surprisingly good surround sound experience for a pair of headphones.
The battery life of the headset is rated for up to 14 hours, though this can be extended to 20 by disabling the RGB lighting. The obvious flaw with RGB lighting in a headset is that you can’t see it once you put it on, therefore I’d recommend disabling this. In the real world, the headset lasted over two weeks on a single charge, with about one hour of use per day and the RGB lighting enabled. Should I buy the Razer Man O’War? At this price point, no. This wired version is compatible with just about everything — PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, mobile devices, or plugging directly into a monitor or speaker’s audio out — making it as versatile as it is high quality. While its size proved to be a limiting factor, your mileage may vary. Certainly, as a mobile headset, the ManO’War 7.1 may be a bit much, but if it’s top-quality sound and mic performance you’re after, we’ve yet to experience a superior alternative.The connection strength is by far my favorite feature on the headset, as no matter where I moved to in the room, the connection was perfect. I was even able to move to the room above my test PC and have a connection (albeit unstable), which is something the Corsair Void Wireless couldn’t achieve.
