About this deal

Some rabbit introductions are very straightforward (‘love at first sight’). Others may take far longer (often months) to bond. Most fall somewhere in between. They are going to want to claim their territory and that is also going to involve creating a hierarchy. The only way this can happen is by showing dominance, so that is what rabbits try to do. Automatic ejection has another advantage. If the worker carries the part to the next station, he can put it in the (empty) station right away. If he has to unload the part first, then it is either a two hand operation or he has to put the first part down. In any case it is more cumbersome. Manual Unloading In addition to understanding the possible external influences on your rabbit’s behavior, it is also important to consider their internal motivation for chasing you. Is your furry friend looking for a way to get physical activity and explore new areas? Are they seeking out interaction and attention from their favorite person? Understanding the underlying motivation behind this behavior will help ensure that any corrective measures taken are appropriate and effective.

Do be careful if the submissive rabbit is female, though. This can lead to a phantom pregnancy, even if both rabbits are fixed. Your rabbit will not give birth. She’ll think that she is pregnant for around three weeks, though. 3) Chasing Like with any semi-automated process, it is recommended for the process to be faster than the worker. In lean philosophy, it is impolite to let the worker wait for the machine. The other way round is perfectly acceptable, and the machine can wait for the worker. If the rabbits appear comfortable with each other, scatter feed tasty food so they're eating closely either side of the bars. For some rabbits this might result in defensive behaviour at first (this is not normally something to be concerned about at this stage), but do not add any further tasty food. This can be introduced later when the rabbits are more comfortable with each other’s presence.

The worker could work with the material flow or against the material flow. Here it is my strong advice to have the worker work with the material flow. This is much more intuitive. a compatible group – it's possible to keep more than two rabbits together, but unless the rabbits are related and neutered early, bonding can be more problematic, so it's often best left to the more experienced rabbit owner The only exception is if an intact male initiates mating. Even once that is done, however, the female will grow aggressive toward the male. They want to be left alone to raise their babies.

This also has its own Japanese word, Nagara switch (ながらスイッチ, flexible rod switch), although I am a fan of using plain English rather than fancy words in a foreign language. I have seen both stiff and flexible switches. This may shave a few more seconds off the workload and increase efficiency, requiring only a little investment. Organization of Multiple Workers Rabbits are not aggressive by nature. It’s one of the many advantages of having a pet rabbit. If rabbits are left to their own devices, they’ll usually be entirely content and docile the majority of the time.Rabbits have telltale displays of dominance. These are universal across rabbit hierarchy, and remain the same throughout the species. Whether wild or domesticated, rabbits will show these dominant behaviors. The work content for one person is then roughly the total work divided by the number of people (although not exactly, because the workload may not be evenly divisible). However, the work content of one human cannot be faster than the slowest process. If the human work is faster than the slowest process, then the human would have to wait for the process to complete. Hence, we cannot put too many workers in the system. When your rabbits are fighting, it might be tempting for you to step in by yelling or making a loud noise. If you think that they are in danger, it could be hard not to go with your first reaction. When rabbits start to fight for dominance again, it can be troublesome. It means that you’ll need to bond them again. Ensure you have separate hutches and begin the process from square one.

Yet another Chaku Chaku line, this time Bosch in Japan. The Chaku Chaku line starts at 3:13. There are also sometimes multiple people in the line. Chasing you is your rabbit’s way of soliciting playtime and interaction. Rabbits are highly social and energetic creatures that thrive on activity and bonding. Yours may dash after you as an invitation to engage in a fun game of cat and mouse. It’s their way of saying “Notice me! Let’s hang out and burn some energy together!” Curb unwanted chasing by initiating play sessions on your terms. Try at least one or two 30-60 minute playtimes daily. Engage their minds and bodies with toys, boxes, tunnels and treats. A tired bunny is a happy bunny. When you start noticing this, it will make you ask, “Why do rabbits chase each other?” and it is nothing more than trying to woo the other rabbit. There are seven visual cues that show that a rabbit is being dominant. If introducing two rabbits, keep an eye out for these signs: Grooming is a very social activity and is often a sign that bonding is progressing well. Typically, the more dominant rabbit will often ‘request’ a groom by dipping their head in front of the other rabbit. But remember:Circling can also sometimes be linked to mating rituals. If one or both rabbits are fertile, watch this behavior carefully. If the circling is accompanied by honking, separate the rabbits at once. You’ll risk an unplanned litter otherwise. Don’t force two rabbits to share space until they’ve bonded. Bonding is an important component of rabbit life. Once two bunnies bond, they often become inseparable. A BookRiot Don’t-Miss 2022 Queer Graphic Novels & Memoirs • " Rabbit Chase is a welcome intersectional work for today's youth."—Traci Sorell, award-winning author of We Are Still Here! and At the Mountain's Base Once the rabbits have been fully bonded, you might not see any chasing at all. Since the rabbits know their place in the relationship, there is no need to continue the chasing ritual. However, you still might see this behavior every once in a while if the dominant bunny gets upset at something the other rabbit is doing or if they want to reassert their dominance. What is the difference between a fight and a chase? Bonding is a process that can take a lot of time so you’ll have to be patient and put a lot of time into helping the rabbits get along. One sign that your rabbits are bonding is that they can coexist peacefully.
