About this deal

All penny sleeves are the same size. So, if you have YuGiOh cards, then you need to bear in mind that the penny sleeve will be far, far larger than your card. Final Thoughts Note: Inner sleeves are smaller than regular penny sleeves and are needed for double sleeving. Penny sleeves just won’t fit, unless you use oversize sleeves. This setup isn’t recommended. With the thumb and forefinger on your left hand, grip about a half inch down on the left-hand side of the top of the penny sleeve. Slide your finger to “open”. Though we’re big fans of all of the sleeves we’ve listed already, sometimes you need sleeves to protect a much bigger volume of cards – and, though you don’t want to spend Dragon Shield money on protecting hundreds of them, you definitely don’t want to skimp on the quality!

The playmats seem to be really nice high-quality art prints. They don’t have stitched edges, which would make them almost perfect. They don’t have zones, but they aren’t needed at all. In addition to the above-mentioned cut-corner cards and side-load penny sleeves, there are a number of other options available for collectors. Dragon Shield have created a sleeve that isn’t much different to its competitors, but have created a long lasting, durable sleeve with a brand that has a bunch of beastly dragons as their “colour code”.We use these for every single one of our rare non-graded cards and then house them in a protective box for storage. You can have the grade on the label, or even just the card authenticated if it’s a forever PC card. Many consider ETB sleeves to be low quality, but fine to use, while others claim they cause damage. The truth is that they do not cause damage if used correctly and carefully. When inserting or removing a card from a sleeve, never apply pressure to the card’s face, otherwise, you’ll risk scratching the surface of the card.

These are thin, slippery, erfectly cut sleeves that I use on my low value cards that I like to play with. The high gloss material used makes it easy to move around boards and even easier to shuffle with, making them a great choice for those that play in tournaments. While penny sleeves do offer some mild protection against corner damage, creasing, or other more serious damage, they do not offer the same level of protection as top loaders or card savers. Players– Either single-sleeve with a set of outer sleeves– or double-sleeve with inner sleeves and outer sleeves for the best protection. I’ve tried to cheap out because top loaders ain’t that cheap (at least when you buy them in large quantities). This ends up costing me more because I end up throwing half of them out.

Some of you may not like this as the card could poke out of the top if handled heavily, but for me it makes the card look that little bit sleeker. Most of us aim to collect Lorcana, even if we also want to play. To keep your cards in the best condition long-term it’s pretty simple and not too expensive. Most people just need the first two mentioned. These sleeves measure 2 3/4" x 3 5/16" and are designed to hold cards from the early 1950s, before the standard card size was universally adopted. Dragon Shield have been in the game for some time, but over the last couple of years many trading card collectors have only spoke highly about these incredible sleeves. The overall transparency is perfect on these sleeves too, so you can be sure there’s no issues with reading the sometimes tiny text on your cards.
