About this deal

The Fates weren't dangerous because they were evil; the Fates were dangerous because they couldn't tell the difference between evil and good.” Broken hearts, happily never afters and more curses than you could ever imagine… the ‘Once Upon A Broken Heart’ series by Stephanie Garber is such a magical trilogy, and one we have loved sharing with you over the years. We know this a reprint many of you have been hoping for, and we’re so excited we could make this happen to share our adoration for this series with you all! the mystery was so intruiging. i didn’t expect for apollo’s brother to be the one to poison apollo and the fact that he’s still alive?? just wow. there also wasn’t much world building for this book given that it takes place in the same universe as caraval. although i did enjoy caraval, i appreciate the fact that she didn’t build up the world like caraval. this helped differentiate the world despite the fact that it takes place in the same universe. I feel so confused now that I’ve finished reading because I still have no idea what’s actually going on and who can be trusted.

Evangeline Fox’s heart is broken. The love of her life is marrying another woman (her stepsister) and she cannot take it. Evangeline decided she needs to stop the wedding and searches for help in one of the Fates, the Prince of Hearts. An explosively rich fairy tale that takes place inside an intricate world that’s weaved with fast-paced plot and intriguing twists.” — BuzzFeed I believe there are far more possibilities than happily ever after or tragedy. Every story has the potential for infinite endings.”He held her so tightly it hurt, but this pain she didn’t mind. She’d let him crush her, let him break her, just as long as he never let her go. This was what she wanted, and she refused to believe that he didn’t want it, too." Evangeline became easily one of my favourite fmc ever. She is not a fighter, she is not ruthless, she is not the underdog that rises from nothing. She is a girl who believes in infinite happy endings, oddities and is curious about what is going on around her. She is what a 17 yo should be and more. She thought that her first love was THE LOVE and couldn’t pass her own heartbreak. But also part of me thinks, this is just a tragedy, and maybe it is. Because my heart is most definitely broken and maybe it just has to stay that way.

He held her so tightly it hurt, but this pain she didn’t mind. She’d let him crush her, let him break her, just as long as he never let her go.” Every prince gets cursed. A prince without a curse will be forgotten by history, and trust me when I say that Apollo wants to be remembered” Apart from the hotness I once again enjoyed the fairytale vibe, I love Stephanie Garber's writing and how she described North with its magic and mysteries. So enchanting! Beautiful writing. In ouabh we had like minor angst and then the crypt scene phew. But I had to put Ballad down multiple times just to process the tension oh my god. So many butterflies for them 😭

Did we miss something on diversity?

For me, going into this book, was a magical adventure.✨ I knew Stephanie could write a story, but here she wrote a fairytale, a stunning and breathtaking book.
