About this deal

Eventually he was manipulated by Liege Maximo and something snapped inside Megatronus. Consequentially during a murderous rage, he accidentally killed Solus Prime with the Requiem Blaster. The blast was so powerful that Solus disintegrated but not before she vowed undying love for him. After a battle between the remaining Primes, Megatronus banished himself to the stars out of shame for his actions and forever dubbed himself " The Fallen". Relationships [ ] Enemies [ ] Solus Prime (Former ally and Lover/ Victim) [ ] As it turns out, just the mere act of using Unicron's blood to power himself up was this: the act of doing so tainted his Spark. Instead of returning to the All Spark when he dies, he ends up in Unicron's Anti-Spark, doomed to forever be the Chaos Bringer's slave and vessel until Optimus of all people saved him. Initial drafts of the Script had the Fallen being trapped in an dimensional vortex by his brothers, the Primes, and communicating with Megatron through an interdimensional window. He'd only be released from his prison when the Decepticons uncover the Solar Harvester in Egypt. In those versions, he also eluded Megatron by promising to transform him into a Prime upon the defeat of the Autobots. When Optimus Prime tells him Primes are born, not made, Megatron impeaches the Fallen from reaching an escape portal and blasts him to Optimus, escaping with Starscream through the said portal, and stating he'd no longer serve anyone. [ October, 2009] The first plot is seen in the prequel comic; the second in the video game.

Megatron is largely "off-screen" for most of the Binaltech saga, reflecting the absence of a Megatron figure in that toyline. Due to the interference of Ravage (the same future Ravage who appears in the Beast Wars), most of the events of the original animated feature do not transpire; most importantly the Battle of Autobot City does not occur, and Optimus Prime and Megatron do not have their final showdown, meaning that Optimus Prime does not die, and Megatron is never reformatted into Galvatron. Power Glows: After injecting himself with Dark Energon, his joints and eyes glow with purple energy whenever he's actively using it. Cold Ham: Unlike some of his predecessors, this incarnation of Megatron is calm and menacing. That being said, he comes off as over-the-top and terrifying while being full of Tranquil Fury. Nineteen thousand years ago, Seven Primes landed on Earth. One of the Primes, Megatronus, defied an important rule: "Never destroy a planet with life" — He ignored the value of life beside his. Due to his hatred of the human race, he tried to use the Solar Harvester, which has the power to destroy suns and create energon, on Earth. The Matrix of Leadership was needed to activate the machine, so Megatronus stole it, which resulted in a great battle between Megatronus' minions and the Primes. In the end, the Primes took the Matrix and hid it inside a tomb made up of their own bodies so that Megatronus, know called "The Fallen", would be unable to activate the machine. Solus Prime was a fellow Prime member like Megatronus. She was also his love interest (in Covenant of Primus) until he killed her. In Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Fixit reveals Megatronus destroyed Solus Prime when he betrayed the other Primes.

In one exception, he doesn't stop Dreadwing from attempting to kill Optimus. Instead, the second Dreadwing is out of earshot, he dryly notes that he sincerely doubts he'll see Dreadwing alive again.

Insistent Terminology: Moreso than any other incarnation, the Decepticons consistently refer to him as Lord Megatron. My power is unequaled. My strength is unmatched. My opponents are unworthy. And my presence is that of death."Strength Combat: The Fallen can greatly induce his strength while at some serious combats. One example would be when he ripped off Optimus' Jet engine and throws it at him. Cybertronian Tank resembling a M808B Scorpion [ original research?], Cybertronian Jet, Cybertronian Racer/Jet, Robotic T-Rex

As Jetfire joined the Decepticons, The Fallen took them to a planet named Earth, and they built a Star Harvester to claim the Sun. However, it, too, harbored life: The Fallen was building the Harvester there to either bait his brothers into taking action (while he was prepared to kill them all) or to remain in limbo. Either way, he won! Jetfire finally turned against his master, just as the remaining Primes arrived, falling into the traitor's trap. The Fallen warped Jetfire and his other underlings away and faced his brothers alone. Megatronus, maintaining just a mild amount of influence from outside the universe, was known by himself as the first Decepticon. Megatron had originally named himself after Megatronus, before shortening the name. To marry the visual appearance of Megatron's pre-Beast form seen in the first episode of the Beast Wars animated series (indeed, Megatron was the only character whose entire body was depicted, albeit briefly, prior to reformatting into a beast mode) with the toy of the character available exclusively at the convention, the story notes that Megatron adopts a detachable suit of armor that transforms into a missile tank, similar to a Pretender Shell or Ultra Magnus's outer armor in Dreamwave's series. The tank is his toy; the profile is given for the character in the widespread release of the comic notes that his original body transforms into a hover tank. Notably, Timelines presents a slightly different version of the disk's theft to the story presented in Dreamwave comics. In Timelines, Megatron seems to already be known to other characters by that name, whereas in Dreamwave's story, he only takes the name after taking possession of the disk. Whether the two are reconcilable is unknown. Vocal Evolution: Frank Welker's return to the role prompted a newer version of the voice which is much less screechy, and more quiet and menacing. He even admitted that the classic Megatron voice did not allow much range, while this voice allows him to be both reserved and bombastic at different times.Regenerative Durability: The Fallen possess a capability to enhance resistance to any damage, greatly accelerating his durability. Megatron's presence would be felt in IDW's second Beast Wars series as well, as Ravage (resurrected as a Transmetal by Magmatron) aimed to capture Razorbeast's chronal armband, which would allow him to interfere with the "main" timestream (the Beast Wars of the TV show). He planned to free Megatron from his imprisonment on the Autobot shuttle and ally with him to kill all the Maximals on the planet. His plan was thwarted by Razorbeast. However, in the very last panel of the series, Megatron is seen overlooking a ravaged Cybertron, presumably having just arrived from his long transwarp journey before his Maximal rivals. At the beginning of it all, Megatronus was loyal to his creator Primus. Yet, he was considered unpredictable and unstable by the other Thirteen. Megatronus soon became the first Decepticon when he became pernicious, cruel, sadistic, immoral, and villainous towards the other Primes, and even a murderer for destroying Solus Prime. He seems to hold a strong grudge with both Earth and Cybertron for playing roles in his exile, which left him to have a deep desire for vengeance in his time of being exiled. He also seems to share the same level of anger as Megatron as he nearly killed the Autobots and Optimus Prime for foiling his plans to destroy Earth and Cybertron. What does not destroy me makes me strong . . . what attempts to destroy me shall be obliterated." ( Beast Wars)
