My seven year old and my three year old daughters love to play with it. They in fact fight that they want to play. There are some fun element which they like . The castle transforms outward and upwards. And they have a secret entrance. the toy is very well-made. I like that it closes up and easy to store . Great for long drives in cars. The colors used to amazing. It’s a fun and interactive play set . Great for birthday gifts,Christmas presents. Overall and amazing play set . Use the spell book to see the recipes for creating DIY magic pets, and hatch them from the pot. There are more than 300 magic pets, all unique with their own abilities. They can fly, sing, cry, laugh, build, protect, and even merge with other creatures to become even more magical and beautiful. From a quality standpoint, it seems to be made relatively well. There are several parts made put of cardboard that definitely won't last long. All our toys need to be bath and outdoor worthy, so I would probably just remove them if she played with it more. There are also some places that the paint is coming off already, which is disappointing given how little it's been used. Overall I'd say it's a "meh" for us. It's cute enough but there are some quality issues, and once you've figured out all the "surprises" it's just another toy playset.
