About this deal

It's been 14 years since Lego last released a wave of sets based on the Indiana Jones franchise. But with a new movie imminent – Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny– Lego has revitalized the IP, releasing three new sets based on the famous fictional archeologist.

Its proximity to the year where LEGO Games was retired suggests that it was canned as a result of the theme winding down.

It features the only depiction of the wrestler Bonesaw (who is somewhat of a meme) as a minifigure. It’s an incredibly rare piece of LEGO Spider-Man history, and some Bonesaw minifigures have surfaced in recent years, adding to the legend of this set. 21038 Las Vegas Skyline (with Mandalay Bay Hotel) (2018) Throughout 2022, the LEGO Group worked closely with Lucasfilm to optimise our planned product line up for the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones product launches in April 2023. You need to help him escape by climbing the massive Anubis statue and finding the hidden passage. But watch out for a scary mummy and the snakes coming through the wall! 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol – 1545 pieces Given the apparent lateness of this cancellation, one wonders whether a few sets might escape into stores. The LEGO Indiana Jones sets has a release date of 1 April 2022 globally, and will be available from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores and most major retailers.

I know, we don't get ALL of this from the first movie, but his characters motivations gets a little more revealed in Temple and Crusade. Why put so much effort into complaining about a set that hasn’t existed yet? There are 90,000 different set numbers out there, they can afford to assign a few that don’t make it to production. ToD has *never* received a lot of merchandise because of its content matter - the very last wave of Hasbro action figures released in the revival line for CRYSTAL SKULL were all ToD based and were VERY hard to find - so it's possible LucasFilm has reached the point where they just want to sweep it under the rug. At the moment, none of the rumoured LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 sets are said to be based on Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Sad. Every LEGO Indiana Jones set rumoured for 2023

Details

The LEGO Raiders of the Lost Ark was a subtheme of LEGO Indiana Jones and contained sets based on the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark These potential reasons are pure speculation, offered in the absence of any concrete explanation from the LEGO Group, and may not necessarily reflect the real motivations behind 77014 The Temple of Doom’s cancellation. The only thing that’s certain is that the set won’t be launching alongside 77012 Fighter Plane Chase, 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb and 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol on April 1. While those three sets will reportedly all focus on scenes and vehicles from Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade, at least four of the remaining five mystery sets are thought to draw from the still-untitled fifth Indiana Jones film. If the final set is inspired by any of the classic movies, we’re looking at a distinct 50/50 split between old and new. We’re going bigger than ever before It’s a bit of an ambiguous statement, and all it says that it’s NOT part of the April 2023 release, so who knows if its truly cancelled, or its been delayed. This impressive Temple of the Golden Idol LEGO® set for adults looks great displayed on a shelf and has lots of interactive functions, including Indiana Jones swinging across a cavern and being chased by a massive boulder.
