About this deal

I managed to get my hands on this book 4 days early and devoured the whole thing in a day. I’ll start by saying that this book is a very heavy read, and as Joe points out, if you’re not ready to read this book or easily triggered then please don’t read it. Final note to say is to say that the comedy in this book will have you laughing at things you thought were morally wrong to laugh at, but here you are belly laughing at suicidal jokes. I have been aware of Joe Tracini for some time, as I was a huge fan of Joe Pasquale growing up, and so saw Tracini involved with some of Pasquales entertainment shoes. I specifically remember him singing a rendition of 'Bojangles' in a show. At the end of the book he says in a typically self-deprecating way: “hopefully this book makes you more able to see what’s happening in someone else’s brain and feel less alone with what’s happening in yours.”

Having suffered from my own mental health and PTSD for many years, I always like to hear from others who can share their own personal stories. Obrigada Joe. Foi uma experiência incrível e eu vou sentir falta das suas palavras nas noites de insônia. It looks like Joe needs more help than promoting a book. Can’t even imagine the thoughts he goes through on a daily basis, but hearing him repeatedly talking about killing himself this early am is worrying! #Lorraine," said another. Life is just so exhausting, he says, that there is not a moment when he is unaware of himself. Has he never felt inner calm? Actually, yes, there was one day, recently. Feelings aren’t a choice. My adult career has been trying to undo everything I taught myself about how to be like my dad’ ... Tracini as Dennis Savage in Hollyoaks. Photograph: Channel 4 Review: Cinderella, York Barbican, until December 30". The Press (York). 26 December 2012 . Retrieved 8 June 2015.

Having Holly in my life has made me feel more capable of some sort of future, though I can’t think long term.” Tracini is developing a BPD standup routine, which he hopes to take on the road. “It’s called Ten Things That I Hate About Me. It’s basically a Ted Talk gone wrong,” he says. Writing this book has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It had to be dragged into the world, with my condition telling me that every single word, sentence and chapter was terrible and would make strangers walk up to me in the street and punch me in the face.
