We have been working on the new electronic show for many months now and I cannot wait to tour the US with new Electric Band’states Howard.

Originally released in March 1984, Human’s Lib entered the UK Album Charts at No.1 selling over 100,000 copies in the first week and spending a total of 57 weeks in the chart whilst achieving Double Platinum status with sales in excess of 600,000 copies. Four songs from this album were released as singles in the UK, all of which reached the Top 20: ‘New Song’ peaked at No.3, ‘What Is Love?’ at No.2, ‘Hide and Seek’ at No.12, and ‘Pearl in the Shell’ at No.7. As well as achieving great success in the UK, “Human’s Lib” and the various singles taken from it also enjoyed tremendous success internationally in such countries as USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and throughout most of Europe. Howard will soon be on the road for the long-awaited full electronic European tour which was originally planned to promote Howard’s album Transform in 2020. With the release of Dialogue the tour will now feature songs from both albums along with the greatest hits. Two new dates have been added to the US tour on July 5th at The Howard Theatre in Washington DC, and July 8th at Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, NH.Please note there is no parking provided at the venue. You may be able to find parking in the general vicinity subject to local council parking regulations but this is not guaranteed. Now Howard Jones has re-mastered those first two classic albums ‘Human’s Lib’ and ‘Dream into Action’ and played them both live in their entirety for the first time on November 6th 2010 at the IndigO2 in London’s O2 Arena Complex. This two-album show is being repeated throughout 2011 and 2012 at selected venues. The re-mastered albums and a special re-mastered box set of the 12” mixes were released in March 2011 and a DVD of the IndigO2 concert is now available from www.howardjones.com Howard will perform both albums in full at every show accompanied by Robbie Bronnimann on keyboards and sequencing and Jonathan Atkinson on electronic percussion. The show combines retro synths with cutting edge technology combined with live visuals. We are planning a fan based Hojo book which we would love you to contribute to. I feel that live shows will continue to be the way that people engage with my music most, so I will devote a lot of time to developing this.
