About this deal

The plastics used on the vents and visor mechanism, the seal and the trim all look and feel of high quality. It’s also been wind tunnel tested with the end result being what looks like a fairly round, very slippery design along the same lines as recent Arais.

I live in Canada and ride only 4 months of the year. I do maybe 10 000 km a season of riding. So the helmet doesn’t get tons of daily use for example if I lived in the southern states and rode all year round. The action and ease of removal of the visor makes it one of the best I’ve used – I still prefer the ‘infinite adjustability’ of an Arai, but that’s a real pain to open with the right hand, and although I have no problem with the Arai’s visor removal, I know some people do. The HJC is closer in action to a Shoei visor, but I prefer the smoother movement of this HJC, and the slightly easier removal and refitting. Another thing to bear in mind, is that a helmet in say size Medium from one Manufacturer may fit completely differently to a Medium from another Manufacturer. Therefore we would always recommend travelling to a dealer to try a number of different brands to get the perfect fit for your head shape. Just above the visor is a very small slider that acts as a brow vent – this is really fiddly to use, so you’ll likely leave it open. Until it rains. We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.Easily cleaned. Use lukewarm water or a small amount of mild liquid soap and water and a damp non-abrasive cloth only. Allow the lens to dry naturally. A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell. Airflow into the RPHA 11 is in the form of a couple of chin vents and forehead vents with four exhaust vents to the rear. The forehead vents use a small wheel which HJC says is glove friendly and provides multiple positions. Make some kid’s day with the Spidey RPHA 11 It’s easy to get the strap undone, but I just think the anodised aluminium clasps could have been a little better thought out to make it easier to do up.

It’s worth pointing out that a good SHARP score is important – but not as important as getting a helmet that fits correctly in the first place.Note: These inserts are for use with motorcycle helmet shields that have the connection posts for attachment. These inserts cannot be used with a shield that does not have the attachment posts.

The two top vents are rollers, which are extremely easy to use and allow you to fine tune the opening if you wish. These give a very noticeable blast of air at two points on the forehead, thanks to the lining not covering the ports. b)to manufacturers and third party service providers overseas, again in connection with the purposes set out above; or It’s not quite so good with the lower vents though because not so much air seems to find its way onto the rear of the visor. There’s a stinkload of designs available for the RPHA 11 – probably as many if not more than we’ve seen for any helmet. Though, strangely, no hi-viz version. Odd that.Road Legal Road Legal These visors are road legal allowing at least 75 percent of light to pass through them. Road legal visors are available in clear, smoked and iridium tint. (25) Sizing information is provided by the manufacturer and does not guarantee a perfect fit. Please use the sizes shown as a guide only. The cheek pads have broken down by an unreasonable amount which tells me the foam used is low quality. Our Helmets are sent out in Brand New boxes, items clearly damaged in transit should not be accepted as once signed for, are accepted as delivered complete and undamaged . Helmet City cannot be held responsible for any damage discovered after the item has been signed for. I’m not usually that much of a fan of visor ratchet mechanisms – I prefer to be able to set my visor where I want it – but the HJC’s is excellent, not just because the ratchet isn’t as harsh as many, but thanks to the great ‘just-open’ setting.

The situations where we may collect and hold your Personal Information include: Bottom line is that you should probably expect the RPHA 11 to be quite noisy and plan to wear a decent pair of ear plugs each time you use it. The RPHA 11 is a pretty average helmet when it comes to noise. On the ZX-6R your head is generally in the wind when riding on the road, and there it’s not too bad. On the S1000XR the fairing introduces some turbulence that makes it a bit noisier, but in both cases it’s not really much better or worse than other sport lids. Basically, as with all helmets you do still need earplugs.

The competitors product must be identical to the one sold by ourselves including brand, model, size etc. The lens is placed between two adjustable eccentric pins, making it easy to install or switch lenses as weather conditions change. We will keep your Personal Information only for as long as required for our business purposes and otherwise as required by Australian law. From there, the visor sits open by about 5mm, which is ideal for town riding, or on more open roads when it’s really hot (or you’re struggling with fogged spectacles). Childrens helmets are available in a variety of sizes depending on the Manufacturer, but they are generally :
