Hold the loop to the edge of your cardboard slip, and feed both ends of the thread around and through the loop to create a knot. Heat your wax to 80 degrees centigrade. Once it’s clear, it’s ready to use. If you find the wax has reached 80 centigrade and still contains unmelted wax then do not continue to heat it, just place the jug safely on a table and gently stir the wax until it dissolves.
