About this deal

I also had a fair few followers testify that it's a great diffuser for short hair, too. I've used it on my mum's short hair, and she gets great volume with it!

The DevaFuser allows you to dry your roots first, which not only benefits the ends of your hair, but also helps with volume. Our roots usually take the longest to dry, and the longer they are left wet, the more chance there is of ending up with flat roots. But, if you dry your roots first, you'll be left with fab volume. We tested a range of hair dryers whose manufacturers billed their tools as being particularly quiet, comparing them against each other to find the quietest of the bunch. But volume wasn’t the only category we required these dryers to score highly in (or low, if we’re being technical) –we required them to be all-around excellent dryers and assessed the following factors:The DevaCurl DevaFuser is raved about when it comes to creating volume. You know that fluffing-out-at-the root thing you do once your hair is dry to create volume? Well, this handy (get it?) diffuser works in the same way. Please note that Royal Mail currently classes perfumes, nail polishes, flammable liquids and aerosols as "hazardous materials" and will only accept a limited number of these per parcel. It's not universal, so you'll have to make sure it's the right size for your existing hairdryer, buy a new hairdryer, or tape it on (like me). We're proud to announce that our mailing bags are made from recycled polythene and are also recyclable, and our bubble wrap is made from recycled plastic and is completely recyclable. Hairdryer diffusers, on the other hand, delicately distribute the air so curls dry evenly, and without excess frizz.

Size and weight: The size and weight of your dryer is important day-to-day, particularly if you're hoping to avoid arm ache. But it's even more important if you're somebody who travels regularly and wants a tool that doesn't take up too much space in your bag.The diffuser attachment is included, along with a few other attachments, in case you feel like mixing up your style. The hand design can make it hard to dry the lengths of the hair because hair can fall through the gaps. To combat this, you could either use a different diffuser for your lengths or take a leaf out of Spisha's book and only dry your roots. Tip your head to one side, take a small section of hair and place it into the diffuser bowl. Gently bring the diffuser up to your scalp, and then turn the hairdryer on. Hold in place for thirty seconds, turn the hairdryer off, take another small section of hair and repeat.

If you're not adding root clips, or want to diffuse to 100%, repeat steps two to four until hair is dry. Creating bounce, volume and curl definition when diffusing is all down to technique. By taking the hair, section by section, and gently lifting towards the scalp, you set the curls in place, which helps enhance curl definition and create bounce. Volume comes from the small amount of 'functional frizz' that the air from the diffuser creates as it gently dries the hair. For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned. Just before we dive into our curated edit of the tolls that performed best, it's worth pointing out that the quietest hair dryers tend to be a little pricier because of the advanced technology involved to make them so. But on a more positive note, they're also often lighter and more compact, which means they double up as the best travel hair dryers, which ups the value-for-money factor. How to choose the quietest hair dryer that suits you Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned. Definitely! We – and many other curly-haired women – can speak from experience that using a diffuser is a failsafe way to dry perfectly-defined curls. Because the air is distributed more evenly from the dryer, it dries the hair more gently and therefore helps to preserve your curl pattern. Is it better to air dry curls or use a diffuser? The Diva XXL Pro is another universal diffuser attachment. It has a large bowl that can accommodate a lot of hair, and it's not too shallow so is likely to help create good definition on both long and short hair.
