About this deal

When Peter doesn't show for Daphne until she's seventeen, inexplicably full-grown and with no excuse for his tardiness, Daphne doesn't know what to think. Still, she has always been told that Peter Pan is her destiny. It's beyond choice to take his hand and leap into the stars, no matter what comes next. Christian… He‘s just amazing. He‘s such an interesting character and I wish we got to read more of and about him. Him and Daisy have my whole heart. They love each other so beautifully it broke my heart. We got so little of them I don’t even know what else to say. Their scenes were great and the way they talk about each other is just poetry. my love’s DaisyChris deserve a whole ESSAY for how adorable they were — or would’ve been if we had more content of them just being cute *gets a murderous glint in eyes* — ugh there were two iconic scenes in this book and I loved them! 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 😭💗✨🤌 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐜 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞. I don’t understand why we were given so less of themmm!! it breaks my heart at the injustice of it all 😩 JONAH AND BIANCA. we need them. WE. NEED. THEM. Once we get rid of Julian please replace his pov with Jonah’s if you must.

also, what kind of ganglord lets a cop live at his house, are you mentally okay Julian??? do you need psychological help???) But in Neverland, Peter's true colors begin to show. One moment, he's making Daphne's heart flutter, and the next, he's forgotten her entirely. So when Daphne stumbles into the path of Jamison Hook, the pirate son of Peter's nemesis, she lets herself get swept up in his vulgar charm, despite the warning signs. I don't get the people who say that Magnolia and Julian were perfect for each other, I'm sorry didn't you read in The Long Way Home how Magnolia keeps telling Bj that she would break up with Julian the moment he breaks up with Jordan (as she should). Also… I’m over the love triangle. Again, pointless. I’m over the boxset. Didn’t mind them but it’s becoming clear they have no loyalty to anyone but Magnolia. All they do is tear down Christian and to believe that she’s trying to sell it to us as found family is laughable. The really disappointing thing is that I would’ve loved all of this stuff if she wasn’t more and more just using everyone as a pawn to bolster one character. I know she’s a new author, but this ain’t it. Aside for a cult following who are also obsessed with Magnolia I don’t see how this is a recipe for success. Also, even though it‘s the same universe and they are completely present in each others lives I loved the different vibes in Magnolia‘s books and Daisy‘s first book. This felt just like another Magnolia Parks book.

You will fall in love with Daisy Haites a million times over and be desperate for more of her story when it ends.' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ make the Hemmes boys work together to find out what happened to their sister but no... everything always has to revolve around Magnolia and the Kylie Jenner of London (yes BJ, i'm talking about you).

Everything gets more complicated when beautiful, broken-hearted socialite Magnolia Parks enters the scene and Julian finds himself entangled with her. Because for Julian, falling in love isn't just unwelcome - it could be deadly for everyone involved . . . Growing up, Daphne always knew Peter Pan would come for her. The way he'd come for her mother, and her grandmother and Wendy before that. The Darling girls. Their stories are all the same: the forever-young boy at their window after their thirteenth birthday, and the shimmering, magical land behind a star. THE BRAND NEW NOVEL IN THE MAGNOLIA PARKS UNIVERSE FROM BOOKTOK ROMANCE SENSATION JESSA HASTINGS. "It's the great undoing of my heart as I know it." Henry and Taura: i honestly don't care about them. he's the loser of the group, the spare Ballentine brother that we don't really need and she can't make a choice and stand by it for the life of her. let's hope they end up together so Jonah can FINALLY be free and we can move on to better things!

"It's the great undoing of my heart as I know it."

Daisy - Oh Daisy. I don't know what you did to upset this author but you better get on your knees and beg for forgiveness because it is very clear this author is holding a grudge. Imagine being sidlined in a book that has your name on it. Never in my life have I seen an author be this biased against one of THEIR main characters and so blatantly obvious about it. I truly don't understand why she even bothered to give Daisy books because it's very clear her heart isn't in it. I mean all you have to do is look at that ugly cover she gave this book. Both Magnolia Parks books get a hand drawn cover and Daisy gets a badly photoshopped monstrosity. Although the statue is a Julian reference and the water lillies are for magnolia so maybe it's not Daisy's fault? Anyway, some parts of this book felt like a different Daisy than from book 1, especially when it came to the Tiller relationship. My heart absolutely breaks for her and I hate that we never seem to dive as deep into her trauma as we do with other characters. I know Daisy hated therapy, but she needs it. I'm also so mad that people keep making decisions for her, but we will get there. I hated this book so much that writing this is boring me so let’s move on onto the list of things I liked: let's start with jonah and the other side characters because i HAVE to get some things off my chest: Everything gets more complicated when beautiful, broken-hearted socialite Magnolia Parks enters the scene and Julian finds himself entangled with her. Because for Julian, falling in love isn't just unwelcome - it could be deadly for everyone involved . . . Readers love Magnolia Parks Universe

Ok, I know I rated this higher it's because I did enjoy reading this even though it broke my heart into small pieces. I STILL LOVE IT. The only problem I have was that 50% (or even more) of this book was also based between Julian and Magnolia. and clearly, CLEARLY, Jonah is (thankfully) not ending up with her but with Bianca (i've read enough books to know what the author is doing. bring it on, Jessa: best friends, mafia heir x daughter of a politician? i'm sat. these two might be one of the two reasons why i will keep reading this series) Daisy… She’s just amazing, too. I liked that she made friends with women (Taura and Magnolia) but again, Taura was her first female friend but we got NOTHING about them but Magnolia filled all of Daisy‘s chapters. It feels like Jessa Hastings herself isn’t really interested in Daisy.

A girl who was brought up in the world of crime, yearning to be normal. Daisy is SO badass.’ (FIVE STARS) i felt so conflicted on what to rate this book because i know if this was just a christiandaisy book i would be in love. but its not, so here we are 🫤 I like a lot what happens between Jud, Barnsey, Christian and Daisy, it was complex, heartbreaking and beautiful. let's hope MP3 gives me some decent crumbs before we can finally move on to the real stars of the series: DH3 and DH4.
