About this deal

Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are the creators of the American crime and legal drama television series Better Call Saul. It is a spin-off, prequel, and occasionally sequel to Gilligan’s previous series, Breaking Bad, and a part of the Breaking Bad franchise. The series follows the transformation of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), a sincere lawyer and former con artist, into the egotistical criminal defense lawyer known as Saul Goodman. The series is mostly set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the first half of the 2000s. Whether they are fans or merely members of the community, we are dedicated to offering the greatest caliber of service to all of our clients. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for consumers to access the content they want without having to put in a lot of effort. We’ll always put your clients’ delight and their sense of respect first. Jimmy McGill’s descent into scumbaggery is quite gradual, with plenty of detours into decency on the road from good man to Goodman. “Bingo” is McGill at his most selfless, a shyster who cares. Wrapping up the Season 1 arc of the Kettlemans, a seemingly wholesome couple facing a massive embezzlement charge, the episode finds Jimmy enlisting Mike to steal the stolen money—not for his own personal enrichment, but to force these amateur white-collar crooks to accept reality and a plea bargain, for their own good. Betsy, as played by Julie Ann Emery, is a terrifically funny foil for Jimmy: a stubborn suburban Lady Macbeth who meets his self-aware sketchiness with a total denial of her family’s own wrongdoing. The final shot of Jimmy wistfully letting go of his dream of a better office and practice is bittersweet on multiple levels. It’s one of the last times we’ll see him act entirely against his own interests. 17. “Point and Shoot” (Season 6, Episode 8)

Speaking of montages, there’s a great one at the start of “Bad Choice Road,” splitting the screen down the middle to concurrently depict the journeys of Jimmy and Kim, nearly dying of dehydration and of worry, respectively. It’s a shrewd way to express the schism a near-death experience—and Jimmy’s refusal to honestly talk about it—creates between the newlyweds. For as much as Season 5’s penultimate episode functions as an epilogue to its immediate predecessor, the phenomenal “Bagman,” it has plenty of unforgettable moments of its own, from Jimmy’s testy PTSD rendezvous with the gruff straight man who saved his life to a breath-stealing climax in the McGill-Wexler living room echoed by the very next episode on this list. “Bad Choice Road” is also one of the best looking episodes of the series, thanks to a vibrant color palette that contrasts fiery sun-baked oranges with waiting-room greens and domestic earth tones. 12. “Plan and Execution” (Season 6, Episode 7) Say nothing, you understand? Get a lawyer!".....well, I did! Slippin' Jimmy! I am a huge fan of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul so, when I saw that You Tooz had this figure, I had to have it! It is set in the years before Walter White became infamous as the meth kingpin known as “Heisenberg.” In this prequel series, we follow Goodman as he begins his law career in vain and slowly builds his reputation as one of the best criminal lawyers in Albuquerque. After an inaugural season of steadfast emotional support and playful banter, Better Call Saul finally answered the prayers of shippers at the top of Season 2, consummating the burgeoning romance between Jimmy and his old mailroom coworker Kim Wexler. Naturally, it’s a bit of deceptive role-playing that seals the deal, the two bilking an obnoxious day trader out of a hefty bar tab and discovering a shared love language of con-artistry in the process. (The subtle flush of barely concealed elation on Odenkirk’s face when Kim at last commits to the bit and gets on board is perfection.) Of course, the long con is on the audience: “Switch” is as charming and light-hearted as this show would ever get, but it also plants the seeds of a dynamic that will come to literally destroy lives dozens of episodes later. From here on out, we’re watching the Jimmy and Kim Show, a romantic comedy destined to curdle over time into tragedy. 22. “Marco” (Season 1, Episode 10) On Breaking Bad: Lalo Salamanca never appears on Breaking Bad, though in Season Four, Episode 11, “Crawl Space,” Gus Fring declares that with the rest of the family wiped out, the Salamanca name will die with Lalo’s uncle Hector.

Bonus bonus question:In a Saulflashforward to events near the end of Breaking Bad, we see Saul telling his receptionist Francesca that she has to wait for a special phone call on November 12 at 3 p.m. Whose call is she meant to be receiving? Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) On Breaking Bad: Introduced in Season Two, Episode Eight (“Better Call Saul”), where Walter White attempts to hire him to help his and Jesse Pinkman’s colleague Badger get out of jail without ratting them out. He is still working out of the strip mall (albeit with more garish decor), has by this point completely embraced the Saul Goodman identity and personality, and is plugged into all aspects of Albquerque’s criminal network. He claims not to directly know Gus Fring —“Let’s just say I know a guy who knows a guy who… knows another guy,” he later tells Walt — and seems to believe that Mike Ehrmantraut is simply his freelance investigator. (In one episode, he compares their dynamic to Higgins and Magnum on Magnum, P.I.) When Walt and Jesse take him into the desert at night to threaten him, Saul — oblivious at first as to their true identities — tries blaming Ignacio (presumably Nacho Varga, who died recently on Saul) for whatever they’re mad about, and is relieved to learn that Lalo did not send them. About film Bonus questions: Jimmy is the one major Saul character whom we have seen after the events of Breaking Bad, where he manages a Cinnabon in an Omaha shopping mall under the fugitive identity of Gene Takovic. When last we saw Gene at the start of Season Five, he was preparing to deal with a shady cabbie who recognized him as Saul Goodman. What is his plan? Will it succeed? Will Jimmy/Saul/Gene get any kind of happy ending out of this? All fans may rely on the Merch Shop to fulfill their needs.
