About this deal

She needs to find her. Something must be wrong. Leo would never leave her without saying goodbye, would she?

So when Julia is found dead in her home, Livy cannot come to terms with the news that she chose to end her own life. The Julia that Livy knew was vibrant and vivacious, a far cry from the selfish neurotic that her family seem determined to paint her as. Though I'm glad Heard has 'made the jump' from YA, this book went from feeling like a thrilling bungee jump to feeling more like a cliff dive... but more specifically, a Wile E Coyote cliff dive.Thanks.” I stroll through the darkened hallway, pay the cover charge, and present my ID to a woman behind a little glass window. Music thumps from within like a heartbeat. Again, this helped to make it feel more realistic to me. I could see how, considering what they had been through, they would end up in their current predicament. Rowley has a firm grip on language and plot, and her easy, chatty style disguises a genuine emotional intelligence‘ Daily Mail Kiersten Modglin, a leader in the psychological thriller genre, has once again blessed the reading world with another entertaining, creepy and addicting story. The DJ pivots to “Milkshake” with a vengeance. The crowd cheers drunkenly, and the college girls turn around so the boys can grind up on their L.A.-toned butts.

Livy's husband and friends say it is her guilt over this that is making her obsessed with unfounded suspicions. A propulsive, sun-drenched adventure with smart, sharp commentary on wealth and power.”—Grace D. Li, New York Times bestselling author of Portrait of a Thief Wendy Heard’s writing never disappoints and You Can Trust Me is no exception.” —Wanda M. Morris, award-winning author of All Her Little Secrets and Anywhere You Run Thrillers are my favorite genre, but lately, I have read dud after dud--even by my go-to authors. When I started this book, I went in with zero expectations--I have never read anything by Wendy Heard, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself instantly immersed. What makes her a standout is her strong characterization. While I have read plenty of plots revolving around con artists, this one felt fresh, and it was exciting to read.An outstanding story. Cleverly plotted, fantastically written and a fast-paced, intriguing read’ Lauren North, author of THE PERFECT BETRAYAL

It wasn't a relatable lifestyle to me, by any means, but I do always love a devious long-game, so Leo was my jam. I had a lot of fun watching them plot and scheme. I found the plot to be V E R Y S L O W for at least 60% into this book. It's a lot of slow investigating going on, internal dialogues in Livy's head about what might be happening, again us hearing her thoughts around secrets and clues that are popping up. It's a very slow coming together of details and there is really not a lot of action AT ALL until around the 80% completed book.

Olivia is the domestic goddess who has won millions of followers by sharing her picture-perfect life online. And now she’s releasing her tell-all autobiography. Atmospheric and claustrophobic. Very cleverly plotted; you won’t know who to trust’ Catherine Cooper, author of THE CHALET

Five years ago, con artist Summer rescued Leo from a life on the streets. Ever since then, they’ve roamed from town to town all over California depending on only one another. With the freedom to do whatever they like, the two have carved out the kind of life not necessarily made for everyone, but is perfect for them. You Can Trust Me had me hooked from the start. . . . Electric.” —Kate Alice Marshall, author of What Lies in the Woods Thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for sending me an ARC of You Can Trust Me in exchange for an honest review. With mounting trepidation she reaches the living room and sees her friend lying on the couch, apparently asleep, though some deep and horror filled part of Livy knows that Julia is not just asleep.
