About this deal

I know. As several concerned friends, strangers, and even my doctor told me, I'm very brave. And sure, it's great practice. And yes, the pictures are going to be really cute. When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed.Read all Instructions before using this product.Save these instructions for future reference. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when using this product near children.

It gets boring. Still, by the end, Dolly was a pro at down and place — impressive progress for a puppy frequently distracted by a feather.

How can the system be used to train a dog? By rewarding your dog for behaviors you desire. Dogs repeat behaviors that are rewarded or reinforced. To change or eliminate unwanted behavior, first determine what is reinforcing it, and change your behavior to stop unintentionally rewarding your dog for things you don't like. The system can then be used to reward the good manners and behavior you prefer. Remove the Treat & Train machine - congratulations you have a crate trained dog! Continue to give her a yummy chew each time you leave her for more than a couple of minutes to make sure she is always happy to go into her crate.

Set your Treat & Train to "3 sec", "variable" and then press "down stay" on your remote. Treats should dispense automatically on every 3 seconds on average. Leave the crate door open and stay in the room with her. The Treat n Train's dog-proof housing measures 13.5" x 7" x 8", and weighs 4.6 lbs with batteries installed. It will run for approximately six months on 4 D batteries (not included). One year manufacturer's warranty.

While the instruction manual walks users through each training game, the DVD provides more detail and helps you see the correct positioning and timing of treats. The HSM was fully approved and introduced on the German rail network by Deutsche Bahn in 2016, where it proved its capabilities in terms of output, quality and safety. In parallel with this, Aegis ran a safety assurance process on behalf of Schweerbau which was compliant with the Common Safety Method – although the project was deemed non-significant, the process applied ensured that best practice was followed. Aegis also managed the process for achieving Network Rail product acceptance, by demonstrating achievement of the requirements in terms of purpose and safety of operation.

The HSM provided an interesting twist on the approvals process, being a train developed by Schweerbau for future UK operations but one that was approved by the German authorities for use on Deutsche Bahn infrastructure. Aegis Certification Services provided the independent assessment (NoBo/DeBo and PAB – Notified Body/Designated Body and Plant Assessment Body) services to ensure that ORR (Office of Rail and Road) authorisation was achieved in the most efficient manner, allowing Schweerbau to begin bringing the benefits of its rail treatment services to the UK railway. Training Manual and DVD, which have all you need to be successful using Manners Minder, with five "games" that can be played at convenient, low-stress times (such as during TV adverts) to progressively teach your dog to be very well behaved: (1) Tone Means a Treat Is Coming; (2) Target with the Nose; (3) Lie Down and Stay; (4) Run to a Rug and Lie Down on Cue; and (5) Lie Down and Stay with Distractions. At that point, you"re ready to practice with visitors coming to the door. Anyone can do this! It"s easy, fun and amazingly effective in a surprisingly short period of time; each "game" takes about five days to complete. My dog might paw the machine. Will that be a problem? In this program you will specifically reward your dog when he is standing with all four feet on the floor and avoid rewarding him for pawing the machine. As a result, all dogs being formally trained with the Treat & Train, learn to get treats without pawing the machine. Dogs that are not trained to the Treat & Train, however, may try to paw the machine. Since doing so never earns rewards, this behavior extinguishes or disappears. The Treat & Train is fairly rugged and can withstand moderate amounts of pawing and nudging. Say "kennel" or something similar. This will let be your cue to your dog that good things will be appearing in her crate and she should hop into it.What's included in a Treat & Train kit? Each kit contains a battery-operated food dispenser with two (2) interchangeable kibble disks, hand-held remote control with battery, extendable target wand with removable base, detailed instruction guide, and comprehensive training DVD. The 4D batteries required for the base unit are NOT included. Do you always have to use the machine? Chapter 14 of the training manual "Fading Out the Treat & Train" covers how to train dogs to "place" and stay without a Treat & Train present in front of the rug or mat.

The next generation in mobile rail milling trains – the highly innovative CM42 series – is due for arrival in 2020. Set the machine to "300" and "variable". Make sure you have enough treats in the Treat & Train to last the duration and leave your house for 30 minutes. Progress to leaving for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours and finally 4 hours. If you return and your dog is fussing remember not to go to her until she has calmed down and then plan to leave her next time for a shorter time period or speed up the treats a bit. The Treat and Train box comes with the actual Treat and Train itself (basically a treat dispenser), a remote control, a target for touch training, an instruction manual, and a DVD. Annoyingly, the treat dispenser takes four D batteries. I wished I could plug it in, although the batteries likely make it more portable. Automatically feed a treat every few seconds or minutes. This is the ultimate tool to help teach dogs to be alone and is a great help for grooming and crate training! The training itself proved highly effective with Dolly. Before we started, she wasn't great at down-stay. She would get it right about half the time but the other half, would stare at us quizzically in sit. Extremely adorable, but missing the point. After a week walking her through the various down-stay exercises in the manual, she was a pro. By the end, she had even started mastering place. She was so good that when two strangers came over to deliver a piece of furniture, Dolly laid down in her place without needing any treats. Normally she'd be jumping on said strangers for kisses and pets. Best of all, I could send Dolly to her place and answer the door 20 feet away, ensuring she stayed in her place by continually dispensing treats with the remote. This ability to multitask is the machine's best feature. Can the system interfere with radio and/or TV reception? Yes. In the event you experience any form of signal interference, you can try:
