I'm currently purchasing a Mighty+ to try out the latest, this review is for my Mighty that I've had for over 2 years. It’s important to know that the dosing capsules don’t entirely eliminate the need for cleaning. You’ll still get some resin buildup on the inside of the cooling unit, which will need to be cleaned out at some point. I’ll be making a full Mighty+ and Crafty+ cleaning tutorial soon. The only feature that requires explanation is the Superboost. If you like to temp step, or climb the temperature range during your sessions, this is for you. Start your session like normal, but when you're ready to up the temp, double-tap the power button. This will increase the set temperature settings by 27° F (15° C) for 90 seconds. Triple-tap the power button for another 27° F (15° C), for a total of 54° F (30° C). The highest temperature always tops out at 410° F (210° C), and no higher. The German Mighty Vaporizer is a master of extraction, using mostly convection heating mixed with a little conduction. Convection heating ensures consistent and continuous vaporization that evenly extracts botanical compounds from your herb, while conduction makes sure you get good quality vapour hits from the very first draw. Vapour filters through a cooling unit before reaching your lips, compensating for the short vapour path and ensuring that you never get a hot or harsh hit.

My Volcano is now maybe three years old and still works like it is brand new; it is clearly very well engineered. After two months of heavy use, I am pleased to report that The Firefly 2 Plus is a great example of convection heating done right. It offers on-demand heating, producing vapour within 3 seconds (!).Using the digital display you can set the Mighty’s temperature anywhere between 40°C and 210°C. For best results we suggest vaporizing dried botanical between 190°C and 210°C. For use of extracts we suggest vaporizing at 210°C. Once the unit is loaded to use the Mighty vaporizer press and hold power button to turn the unit on. Once the unit is on use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature. When the said temperature is reached, the unit will give short double vibration. Next, swivel out the mouthpiece and take nice, long draws to enjoy your vapor. The unit has an auto shut-off which will engage after 60 seconds of the unit not being activated. So it may be necessary to press the power button every 45 seconds or so to keep the unit from turning itself off. Sessions with the Mighty are just the way I like it - tasty and dense from the very first hit. The Mighty can take longer than other vapes to heat up, but the first hits are more satisfying than from other vapes that race to heat up without giving the entire system a chance to balance. The Mighty’s cooling unit is small but effective. It softens the hot air before reaching the mouthpiece, for a comfortable yet effective hit, and its low draw resistance caters to both light sippers and heavy hitters.

It heats up in approx. 60 seconds. It also brings a new and improved Pre-set Super booster temperature. I’ve only used one other non-battery vaporizer before and it was a chore. The Mighty is easy to use and comes with valuable accessories such as the filling aid, dosing cap, and cleaning brush, which make filling and cleaning easier. The chamber can hold a good amount of product, with a capacity of up to 0.25g. If you’re a bit of a pyromaniac and enjoy using a lighter and watching the flame, you’ll enjoy a Dynavap. Personally, I’d argue a non-battery vape is nice as a companion to your main vaporizer. However, that’s just my opinion of course! Whatever floats your boat. With that being said, the plastic isn’t my favorite material, and it makes the Mighty feel ‘cheaper’ than it really is. It’s a high-quality plastic, definitely, though it doesn’t come close to the aluminum or steel construction of other devices. If you’ve been to Amsterdam, you’ll recognise the famous cone-shaped vaporizer inside pretty much every reputable coffee shop. Simply put, the Volcano is most people’s first experience with a desktop vaporizer. This is bad news for their competition because after using the Volcano, you’ve already used the best.

The Mighty is certainly not the most discreet of the bunch. Appearing like some sort of industrial walkie-talkie more than anything else, the Mighty will catch a few more glances and stares than your average Flowermate.
