About this deal

The medical issue with Bailey seemed weird. It was randomly brought up, then never again, and then asked about at the end. I don’t understand why the large gaps between the information. It also added nothing to the story or her character, especially after it is revealed what it is. But their chemistry is as hot as it has ever been and he seems hellbent on convincing her that he deserves another chance. Before they know it the boundaries are blurring until they ultimately disappear.

He just learned that the beautiful girl he had been seeing on the university campus was the daughter of Coach Ward. He made a mental note to himself to stay as far away as possible from her. Violet grew just as much as Nash did in their time apart. She was more mature and able to express what she needed from Nash. She knew when to push Nash for more information and was able to let him tell her things in his own time. Moreover, the coach knows too much about him and he is sure the last thing he would want is for him to date his daughter. His avoidance strategy has been working but then Vaugun starts failing calc and he finds himself being tutored by Luna Ward. Lastly, one thing that grated on my nerves more than anything, throughout the book was that, even while claiming to love each other, they went around and slept with different people. I really enjoyed the chapter lengths as well, they weren't long but they weren't short. They were perfect, in my opinion, because the length and the words didn't give me enough time to be bored whenever the next chapter would be right around the corner.i’d like everyone to take at least a second to appreciate the maturity and patience and outright restraint of this heroine. if a 6’4 monstrosity of muscle covered in tattoos and chiselled features was sitting half naked in front of me, you can bet your ass my ass has assumed the position #shameless. vi possess demonic levels of self-restraint my thirsty ass does not apparently. The only thing worse than having a ‘one that got away’ is knowing you’re the one who pushed her to leave.” Nash and Violet were a pretty good couple. The trope was definately ex-lovers-lovers to friends-friends to lovers. I loved Nash’s character arc. He had to learn how to let Violet in and overcome his fear that once she knew all his truths that she’d look at him differently. But Nash grew a lot in their two years apart. I loved witnessing him realizing he had to fight for Violet this time and he wasn’t willing to lose. Nash Richards was my first everything. First boyfriend, first time, first love. First heartbreak, too. I really really liked a lot of things about this book. First and foremost, I liked the fact that things were realistic and genuine. Violet put herself out there for Nash because she believed in him and truly loved him, she was patient with him and tried her best to understand his point of view on a lot of things. The tension between Nash and Vi builds as the reason for their break up slowly comes to light. I adored reading this book, and I’m so so excited for the second book in the series, The Sniper! The romance in this book is the reason why i instantly gave it a five star! The connection, the chemistry and the build up between nash and violet was so perfectly described. Their love story was a bumpy one but i am so happy they got their happy ending. Unlike many authors who do not have a favorite novel, Avery Keelan has said that her favorite novel is “Rules of the Game.”As someone with a lot so great family relationship, Nash’s reluctance to share his history hits hard. I couldn’t help but relate, and empathise, seeing parts of myself in him. I try to keep my distance, but our chemistry is hot enough to melt an entire rink. Before I know it, Nash breaks through my defenses like no one else can, and he scores my heart for a second time. After what happened last time, I know better than to fall for Nash again. Not to mention, there’s a strict no-fraternization policy between trainers and their athletes. Problem is, our chemistry is hotter than ever—and he’s determined to make me give him another chance.. Before we know it, the boundaries begin to blur until we can't see them anymore. But with so much on the line, I'm risking a lot more than just my heart this time.
